Nov 1st!Interview date?
11/17. Haven’t heard anything yet 🙁 frantically checking my emailAnyone from 11/24 hear back yet?
When did you interview?Acceptance today! I really appreciate that they personalized the offer letter, rather than it being generic for all accepted applicants.
You might have to send them an update letter. I saw someone earlier this cycle got pulled off after they sent onedoes anyone know if this school actually pulls from the pre-interview hold list or if it’s a soft rejection? i got the pre-interview deferral email in november but haven’t heard anything back.
i sent 2 which is their max limit so i’m unable to send anything new 💔 thanks for the info though! You might have to send them an update letter. I saw someone earlier this cycle got pulled off after they sent one
Check past threads, they’ll have better info. Until you’re rejected you have a shot. As of last week they were still taking from regular non-hold applicants.does anyone know if this school actually pulls from the pre-interview hold list or if it’s a soft rejection? i got the pre-interview deferral email in november but haven’t heard anything back.
congrats!! when did you interview?+OOS Abigail Geisinger scholars program A
On monday, 2/2congrats!! when did you interview?
11/24 interview and I am also going crazy. Last month's decisions were sent on a Tuesday, so I'm thinking either today or next Tuesday, but who knows. How are we feeling guys 😭😭 any predictions on when we’ll hear back? Interviewed on 11/17 and im going crazy waiting to hear back
Crossing my fingers for us 🤞🏼 the 6-10 week turnaround was definitely an underestimation 🙃11/24 interview and I am also going crazy. Last month's decisions were sent on a Tuesday, so I'm thinking either today or next Tuesday, but who knows.
Do we know what this means? +1IS deferred pre II
Guessing a soft R, but technically just means they haven’t made a decision yet and will do so at a later dateDo we know what this means? +1
On hold?Do we know what this means? +1
Oops. I replied to the wrong person. I was deferred post-II to next meeting of the committee. Is this bad?On hold?

11/17. Thought it went really well so I’m disappointedWhen did you interview?
Don’t lose hope! It seems like a lot of people get deferred and then get in at a later date. I think at this point it’s better than being waitlisted because you could still get the A at the next date.11/17. Thought it went really well so I’m disappointed
Not necessarily. From previous posts in this thread people have already come off being deferred and got accepted in Nov and Dec I think. From my understanding it's like being on hold after interviewing. Like adcoms hasn't reached a decision about your application yet (accepted, rejected, waitlisted), so they push your application to the next meeting and so on until they do. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.Oops. I replied to the wrong person. I was deferred post-II to next meeting of the committee. Is this bad?
You had to apply to that program when submitting your initial application right?I’m really interested in the Abigail program but I feel like so many spots have already been taken!! I just interviewed for the regular program this week 😭😭😭😭
You did, yes - there was an additional question you had to answer. However in the interview I believe they said you could try reaching out to them and if they have any open slots after reviewing apps they may consider youYou had to apply to that program when submitting your initial application right?
Just email the md admissions email! They allow 2 updates per cycleHow does one going about sending an Update letter? I looked at the portal but I do not see a place to submit anywhere 🙁
Not yet! I was hoping we would be in the February round of decisions. It seems they send one round of decisions a month towards the beginning/middle of the month, so hopefully we will hear back in the next two weeks!Any late November interviewees hear back yet?
