I got caught up in the R wave. Looks like Pitt is more metric-led than in previous cycles based on what I'm seeing on Admit.
Did everyone that got rejected have "a decision has been made" in their portal prior? I still have "under review".

Then you have not been rejected yet. Yes, it will say a decision has been made
If the last week or so serves as a guideline, I’d assume so. I’d venture to think that if you still have “Under Review” you’re still safe.

They must have changed to rolling admissions
Here is what their website says about this year:
The Admissions Committee will notify interviewed candidates through the admissions portal whether you have been accepted, not accepted, or placed on the waitlist by January 15, 2026.

For people with A's, did you all receive the "Pitt med has a secret" then the decision letter just says "Welcome to the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine"? I got this email and honest to god cannot figure out if this is an A or not 😳. Interviewed on 10/30. DIdn't send update letters
Anyone who interviewed in Nov get the acceptance

Anyone received July or even August interview invite? The earliest I see is mid September, so it’s possible that there’s delay in their process this cycle?
This message aligns with how last years cycle went. I think it will extend further into the year.

Sorry I meant to quote the post you quoted. I meant starting in July-November aligns with last year. Them starting in September hopefully mean they’ll push into December, MAYBE January. Fingers crossed!
