They just wanna know what makes the campus you picked a better fit for you. For example, North Philly is more urban, while St. Luke’s is in the suburbs, so it’s really about what kind of environment you see yourself thriving in & if you’ve actually thought through where you’ll be living/learning. There’s a lot of info online about both if you wanna get a feel for them

Does "This Form Has Been Submitted" on the institutional action request tab mean they have submitted the request to the Dean, or does it mean that the Dean has submitted the required material? I assumed my secondary was complete, but I checked my status, and it said I was still missing my institutional action letter.

I tried not to focu on "hitting" a character maximum. If I could say what I wanted to well under the limit, I chose to leave it as is. No need to dilute effective writing in my opinion!

I emailed them, and they said it means they had sent the form to the official I put down, but hadn't ever received the letter. I replied and asked for them to reopen my application to put someone else (bc my dean was out of town until August 4th or 11th or something around then). They opened it, let me put in a new person, and then that person submitted the letter, and now my application is complete, so your person probably just hasn't submitted the letter yet

For the letters you submitted, did you submit them directly through the secondary's page, or could I upload them through Interfolio so I have the letters for next cycle, just in case I don't get in, and for other schools?

I'm feeling the same way, I doubt I'll be able to get halfway to the character count. I'm just going to write whatever I can think of without too much fluff and then just send it, no matter the length
