It’s a pretty basic question. I don’t think it’s strange for AM to have answered the way she did, that’s very in character for her play style. But it would have been nice to have a greater depth of discussion on the matter.

I’m not sure why you’re so fixated on my asking her for her thoughts.

No. Because you're spending time tinfoiling on mechanics that none of us understand right now or have any evidence to support, and that makes me uncomfortable. It's coming across very differently from you than from alley, for example. alley seems excited about mechanics and loves to tinfoil. You already seem like you're trying to figure out a way to manipulate people's voting with the bounties/lack of, and it feels off.

But yes, you forgetting that CYO II was her game is a small ping as well.

And it might behoove village to discuss these mechanics and make a decision as a group to better understand them.

Since, in casino for example, Genny and Mayo pretty unilaterally decided to test things out in a way that got a villager killed.

So then why not discuss it before voting? Not that one vote makes a big difference in the scheme of things, especially early on D1, but why not discuss first?

Or maybe its bc theres a lot of mechanics talk. Now theres nothing wrong with talking mechanics but when someone's iso is really long and theres only mechanics talk in it , that makes me slightly uneasy. So,

My asking AM about it wasn’t spurred on by anyone calling me out about anything.

Furthermore if there are rewards to be had from voting out someone with a bounty on them, which seems logical, I can want to be the first one on that vote to potentially reap the greatest rewards, AND simultaneously think was should discuss mechanics further. They’re not mutually exclusive.

I didn't care for his discussion with Midwife with the hypothetical where 2 people are exactly the same read and one has a bounty, one doesn't, where do you vote.

I understand what he was getting at, but it's kind of a nonsensical situation. You almost never have 2 people who are EXACTLY the same, even if you're categorizing them in the same spot on a reads list. And him just blindly voting on someone with a bounty on them to see what it does didn't sit right with me. But it's the kind of thing that village!Zenge would do and it would trigger the crap out of me, so...

I do agree with these, though. I like discussing where we’re going with new mechanics, and I like seeing from that discussion what mindset people seem to be approaching them from.
