I must say the undergraduate campus is really nice, and the actual osteopathic school is not to shabby either.

Please elaborate! I am interviewing soon at CUSOM, waiting on the post interview answer from Nova and accepted Lecoms. I am very excited about CUSOM but would love to hear your thoughts on exactly what makes it special and a cut above. It's good to have these hard decisions!!!
You can click on my name and see what I have posted. Read the one in ACOM and what I have posted here. I will try to write more later. Nova is a great school! Just not near as awesome as these two. CUSOM really brings it in the simulation lab area, anatomy lab and OMM. ACOM also has a great OMM and anatomy lab, their Sims are def not as advanced but better than Nova. Nova Sim lab set up, actual glassed in hospital type rooms, were better than ACOM tho. CUSOM just gave me the shivers when I saw their multiple amazing simulators! I have a hard choice to make...
So to everyone who was accepted, are you for sure going here? I am definitely going to send my deposit, but am still going to interview at Nova and hopefully Marian and Chicago(close to home). I just want to see other schools before I settle in, even though CUSOM was awesome and I doubt other schools can hold a candle to its facilities.
Hard choice indeed... but are you willing to give up this view?!?! lol 🙂
Canceling my interview here. Hope it goes to someone in the sdn family.
Do you have an acceptance already?
Yes at ACOM. ACOM is higher on my list than CUSOM

How are classes so far? The faculty I talked to during interviews seemed great, but how are they in lecture? Do you feel like you get a lot out of them or no difference from elsewhere? I realize med school will take up most of our time, but how much do you feel like you study on weekends and nights vs how much free time you have? Is the integrated curriculum working for you?
Thanks for your time, I know you're busy
Hey guys, this might be a completely asinine question but I'll ask anyway. I got my mcat retake score back and scored a 30 (up 6 points from my initial 24). I've already recieved an acceptance here at CUSOM. Should I bother emailing them to let them know the increase? I'm sending my deposit out tomorrow so does it even matter?

You'd be more likely to get a scholarship offer if you let them know.

I would love to hear of anyone with an MCAT <27 that has been accepted. It seems like most who have posted acceptances here have >27.
Kinda freaking out--I'm still waiting on an ii.
Complete 9/4.
Non-trad, NC res, TONS of hospital experience, leadership, EC, blah blah blah
3.55 sgpa, 3.5 cgpa, 4.0 MS gpa.... 25 MCAT 🙁
Am I being unreasonable in panicking?

Did anyone who doesn't have the require pre-reqs completed yet receive a secondary application? AACOMAS reclassified one of my English courses to biology and now I don't have the required credit hours. I'm just worried I won't get a secondary because I already got an email confirming that CUSOM received my primary application, but they haven't fixed this error yet.
