I actually did! I'm still waiting to hear back from a lot of schools! I've had my entire file completed for about three or four weeks now :/ takes soooo long with many of these schools!

It's okay. They've only had 3 int days. Email admissions and see if it helps. Good luck!

Received an interview invitation today. Anyone interviewing November 25th?


ALSO, anyone have any ideas how many interviews they have had so far? Thinking my interview is relatively late (either the 21st or 25th, will have to decide by tomorrow). I am just hoping for the best 🙂 Would love to be part of the inaugurating class!

Congrats! My application was verified more than a week ago and I am still waiting for Liberty so send me a secondary... I would like to be part of the inaugurating class as well...

It didn't take long to receive the secondary if I remember correctly. Best of luck on your application cycle!
 
I liked the area when I interviewed, but I haven' theard back as to if I got accepted or not.
 
10/15. They said they would call after Nov 1st. It looks like some people heard back already though.

So it is about two weeks at this point. At least we will find out soon if we are in or not, which helps with the anxiety!

I interviewed the same day as you and heard back last Monday (10/28)....give Ms. Mendez or Mr. Cook a call to see what's up
 
This is nerve wrecking… So they are accepting people a week or two after interviews? They don't have a set date where they send out acceptances/rejections?

It does seem random. For instance, I got the call on the Friday of a Monday interview. But keep up hope!
 
heyy guys!! COngrats on all your acceptance!!!! Praying that I too will be part of your class! Haven't received my secondary app, it's been 2wks. I'm really excited about this school and can't wait to meet you all!

Wow that is exciting to hear!

Any suggestions on things to do the day before? I arrive the day before my interview around 1:30pm and will have the entire afternoon and evening to explore on my own. Any suggestions would be great!

On that note, if anyone is interviewing November 25th and will be there on the 24th, shoot me a message and lets meet up! I am traveling alone and would be neat to grab some food with a potential future colleague.

I was rushed and didn't really get to do anything there. I got there at night .if you want, you should go downtown or just drive around and get a feel for the town. I loved lynchburg.

Perfect, thank you for the insight! I will look into that. Just a pain dealing with all these flight schedules, hotel and rental car.

I really enjoyed checking out the campus and driving through downtown Lynchburg. I ate dinner at the Kirkley Hotel where I stayed and I thought it was very nice. I was the only one there at first and the waitresses conversed with me about Liberty University (both their daughters are undergrads there) and later the chef. People in this city were extremely nice and made me feel right at home, so I strongly suggest mingling. 1badz, no stress on the rental car the airport is kind of like an episode of Wings, small and easy hehe. Here's a pic I took from the main campus.

Wow, that's a real cool picture! I am definitely planning on going downtown for some grub and to just chat with the locals. Glad to hear people are enjoying the area.

You are going to be amazed at the cleanliness and niceness of the campus. Especially the new DO building. It's on top of a freakin mountain lol. The view from it is spectacular.
 
I cannot wait to see pictures of the inside, especially the anatomy lab!
 
I got an interview invite 🙂 I'm a little scared. This is my first medical school interview!! Does anyone know, if granted an acceptance, how long you have to submit an answer?

AACOMAS verified my application around October 25th.

Liberty sent me a secondary request Monday, November 4th. I completed it that day. Today (November 7th) I received an interview invite! They gave 5 days to choose from and November 25th was the best!

wow congrats! I submitted my secondary same day as you. My stats are similar. My mcat sucks but hopefully my gpa makes up for it. Fingers crossed!!
 
ii! yay! Which hotels did y'all stay at? and do they have shuttle services to/from the airport (lynchburg) and to/from the school?

Hmm I should have looked into that as well. I booked a car to pick up at the airport instead :banghead: Which day are you interviewing? I am going to be staying at the super-8. You can toss a rock at the school from where it is located. Very convenient

LOL. 🙂 I'm being interviewed on Nov. 14th! Super excited!! oops just saw you are interviewing on the 25th. cool! maybe we'll be classmates!
 
HI all, so i just submitted my secondary and then saw the confirmation code. However, when I go back to log-in to the secondary no information is there. Is this normal? Or did I just somehow submit a blank secondary? TIA

This is normal!!! I do not believe you can see your old application or status updates, at least I was not able to.
 
Does anyone know if Liberty will invite you for an interview if you don't have a DO letter?
 
Has anyone with a oct. 21 interview or later not heard any response yet from admissions???
 
I have a question about the letters of recommendation. I got an interview invite, but only submitted an MD letter. It says that DO letter is required. Will this affect anything?

Not sure, I received an interview invite and only submitted professor letters. I am currently working on acquiring a DO letter. I am hoping to have it by the time I am interviewed, but if not, I assume they will just put my file to the side until I submit it. I think you should be ok with an M.D. letter - some schools accept it and others don't. Give them a call, they are real helpful 🙂

I just got back from being interviewed there. They will let you know if you have a letter missing and they will only submit your file for acceptance consideration once all letter requirements are in.

They are super nice, I felt at home during the interview. I believe you will to!
