Not yet, unfortunately :/. I heard that it will arrive this week though. So hopefully it will!

yea i interviewed on the 14th and havent heard a peep... everytime i try to call it seems like im on hold forever. im kind of annoyed because they told my interview group we would find out in two weeks, and it has now been four. anyone else?

I am pretty sure that the next time the committee will meet is on this Friday. If you haven't been reviewed yet then they will most likely do it then.

I interviewed on Oct 17th heard back Oct. 28th........ When I call in to the number on the directions to the interview we were given in email, the person usually always answers maybe try that number. They are friendly and helpful every time I call worth a shot.

Hey I interviewed with you! And I heard back already. I would definitely suggest emailing and calling them! That's weird you didn't hear back because three of the others who interviewed with us heard back as well!

I was accepted on 11/1. Looks like they are really on top of things at the interview. Everyone was very approachable and knowledgable. The professors are very well respected in their fields and have done a lot in them. Congrats to all that were accepted and good luck to those applying/interviewing.

Hi everyone! I just got an interview invitation for either Dec. 16/17 and was wondering if anyone is going to be there any of those days!

Congrats on the acceptances and ii's everyone =)

Only ten more days until my interview!!! I honestly cannot wait. It really doesn't even seem real.

Hey! I'm interviewing that day as well-- i'm going to be flying in on Sunday. Do you want to grab a bite to eat on Sunday?

Hey guys anyone gonna bet interviewing tomorrow 11/18.. I drove down from MI, and 1st off the drive was awesome. I got here late at night and I suggest you take a view of the campus from Snowflex Mountain, the view is jaw dropping!!!. Saddly with all the fog here, I was not able to see the medical building today either, maybe tomorrow's tour will be far better.

On an important side note, I was hoping someone could help me out here and let me know the exact building where I am suppoused to report to for my interview. The itinerary says LUCOM building, where exactly is that. I was thinking maybe they meant the Demoss Center, but idk. Please let me know. Also if anyone here would like to meet up and chat over coffee let me know. I have already gotten lost 10 times on this campus, so i know my way around lol

Please let me know ASAP of the exact location if possible, thank you previous and current interviewees.

My interview was at LUCOM's office in the mall. They set up shop there until the building is complete.

Thanks for your prompt reply, not exactly sure where the mall is though, I may hit up student information and ask them... kind of sucks they don't give exact address or location as to where the LUCOM building is.. I drove up and down that road, but with all the fog that is around I couldn't see anything

It's by the Belk at the mall. I forgot the name of the mall. It's the only mall in Lynchburg. Good luck.

I wonder if this school will have problems enrolling 150 students. Most new schools start off with very high bench marks then relax their standards as the interview season goes on and the deposits are not coming in. Plus Virginia already has a DO school and lots of MD schools. There have been 5 DO schools in the last 5 years wcu, acom, marian, campbell, lucom all in the same region, what does that mean? Because of so much competition, a lot of these schools will have trouble filling their slots or they will take applicants with 2o-23 MCAT scores. And honestly, I think people with 20-23 MCAT scores should not be admitted to med school. They will probably not do that well on the boards and new school will have a 65- 70% pass rate. Not to mention, the school has to figure everything out so the first few classes will suffer accordingly. Rotations will also probably be weak leading to weak residency applicants. I respect ACOM for having strong rotations already in place. But I would think twice before attending lucom, their extremist views don't help either. In my opinion it should have never been opened.

Have you met the faculty there? They selected some great professionals who are very respected MD's to teach their new students (look up dr Brewer and Leonard, as examples). I think that will make a huge difference on whomever will study there. If Carribean schools can have high board scores, Liberty definitely will have as well.

I think you are seeing this school through tinted lenses. If invited for an interview, you will see what I mean. This looks like a great school, only it has the benefit of having a strong, Christian background to it. The first class will have a great experience here, I'm sure.

My interview was at the River Ridge Mall, very close to Wards street. If you call a cab, it will cost you six dollars to get there (that's what I did). I believe that's where your interview will be at (look at the first email they sent you when they confirmed your interview day, there is an attachment giving you this information). Good luck!

I am glad you know everything. What was the purpose of your post again? You have not been forced to apply here or anywhere.

By the way, I got a 23 and have been admitted to multiple schools. I bet I will run laps around you on COMLEX/USMLE.

Just an fyi... Wayne State Medical who is ranked highly and regarded as a top school only accepts students with 31+ MCAT scores. My cousin's father pulled some strings and she got in with a 25 on her MCAT she is currently ranked 2nd in her class. MCAT exam are different when compared to boards bud, you have to realize the material on the two exams are different.

" I got a 23 and have been admitted to multiple schools"

this scares me, just shows there are way too may DO schools popping up and even very slow stat applicants can get in

"I bet I will run laps around you on COMLEX/USMLE"

I highly, highly, doubt it. If you don't have enough disciple to study and do well on the MCAT, you probably don't have enough discipline to study and do well on the comlex/usmle.

What a sad outlook. Success as a physician has zero to do with mcat. I have never met a doctor tell me that their success or the success of their associates had anything to do with mcat scores.

Hey I have a simple question for you EMDO2018 since your an MCAT guru who thinks he is more competent than others, I got a 22 on my MCAT with a 9/4/9 on the MCAT, English is my 3rd language. I moved to America when I was 9 years old, now I also am fluent in Spanish in addition to the other 3 languages I already know. I graduated with a 3.8 overall and 3.65 science. VP of an MSU organization where I coordinated 2 Bone Marrow registration drives with DKMS where we collected 243 registrations. With this all said u have the audacity to state your ignorance that essentially a poor MCAT tester did not place enough time to study for his exam therefore they must not be able to pass COMLEX and USMLE. The stupidity behind your argument makes me wonder how I am assuming, that you did so well on your MCAT. You realize if you don't enjoy the school and think it's extremist, then you don't have to post on this board. It's almost as if your saying ppl who attend there are extremist, lol.

Secondly you really shouldn't be so quick to judge others, and yes I realize I am judging you but I don't like ignorant ppl who freely talk.

Lastly, I work in the ED with a company called IEP. I have asked every physician there ranging from 1 yr of experience post-residency to 30 years. All have said your MCAT does not imply you cannot pass your boards trust me, I used to follow the same logic as you and I almost thought about dropping out until I heard their comments.
