Oh hi you’re here reading this. I was waiting on you to give us more thoughts on the roster

It's tough for me. I'm very trusting and it's hard for me to "turn on" Clem because he opened a pm with me, has seemed genuinely busy. When we pmed together in the dnd game I didn't suspect you for even a second, and when I did I gaslit myself into thinking I was just tinfoiling. So really my pm with Clem is the only thing in the way of my going there. I don't think I understood why he was in he poe to begin with but if someone wants to explain it to me, I'd listen.

Santy has been my biggest advocate this game. I'm grateful for that because I don't have the experience/know-how to make a good case for myself. That said, just because he has been doing that doesn't mean he isn't scum or independent. I'm not sure.

SAR has been in and out, I know she's got her little so that's fine. She's offered some perspective on my play, I wolfed in a game she modded not too long ago and I was thrilled about it. She's made some valid points even if not always exactly accurate.

PSV hasn't seemed particularly helpful, just in and out saying she's not performed any actions and ate a bomb or something. Has she said anything about what her role is?

I'm struggling with the wolf vs independent thing. Like I can't really discern what we are hunting right now. If there's no cult, I imagine there is/are third party(ies) that need something to happen to win alongside village. I've caught glimpses of people mentioning there may be a separate wolf pack or a lone wolf. So I guess we are looking for one or more of the above. Basically this paragraph is just to demonstrate my current understanding of where we are in the game.

I've said this already but ultimately my role request was one to be helpful to the village. I'm not good at reads, I'm not good at game solving, but I can submit an action every night to help out. Especially because this thread blew up so quickly and I haven't read at least half of it (namely d0,1,2), making my lack of skill especially pronounced, it's hard for me to make more comments than this. And some of my comments above may not even be accurate because I haven't read everything. When I've made comments and asked questions I've often been met with "well just read everything," and I'm sorry but it just isn't realistic for me. So this is where I'm at. Sorry this was long winded.

the thing is, samac is trying to solve this on mech and santy is trying to solve this on play

I tend to go with play over mech unless it's locked and there's no guarantee that this is a lock.

there are mech ways for clem to be the big bad we have to deal with so "wanting it to be over" doesn't sit well with me.

A single shelter defense comes up tomorrow and I’m going to advocate for your head on a platter too.
I can get pretty deep when I believe in something. And I believe in this like I believed in AM in criminal minds which I think is why I’m so persistent about this.
Did I have mechanical reason to know AM was the wolf? No. Was I sure? Yes. Did I get ignored and AM won anyway? Yes.

This feels suspiciously like that and I’m concerned.

The game were he shot AM in the first 15 minutes lf the game I felt like he was pretty villagey ngl. There has been instances in which i can vibe with him .

I feel like after thinking about it, I have more fear that Clem is some sort of exclusionary 3p. I have lost to that before, it sucks. If shelter is sk, we just yeet her tomorrow because it's not like the roster is going to get decimated in one night (in B4 lulz)

Yeah, it's an issue with low reasons to exclude you from being anything but cult and there doesn't seem to be any wolves.

because an every night kill is more indicative of a 3p serial killer and that's not likely to be able to win with village

Mostly PoE and being more towny players. The kill ability is a big part of it.

If you are town and Clem doesnt end the game, then you have a last shot to kill the last scum and end this

I think sheltermed has been a little suspicious. I don't share samac's pointed rage, but I do think there's a case. For example, I don't think eliminating the cult is actually worth any credit at all (literally zero) in the present scenario. I think there's definitely a believable narrative to spin that sheltermed asked for a 3p role, didn't specify what kind, received a solo SK type role, and has been super uncertain about how to approach the game with it. So they've followed the waves in the most literal sense (shooting into the consensus POE) to be involved and stay in good graces. I think all of this is quite feasible.

No matter. If we're in agreement about the process, then on we go.
