Hey guys,
So I have been accepted to both of these institutes and with the 2nd of May deadline looming over me, I am having tough time deciding which is the better of the two, with respect to research and a diverse clinical exposure and opportunities.
For UIC, I just got accepted yesterday, so I don't really know the specific campus I would be attending so that is a bit of an uncertainty. I am also an IL resident, and reviewing financial aid estimates there is not much of a difference in the cost.
So, I'd love to get feedback on if UIC-Urbana/Rockford/Peoria/Chicago(most likely full at this point) is better than MCW. I would most likely be placed in Urbana and then Rockford or Peoria as Chicago is probably full by this time. How do those campuses compare to MCW?
Please, please, please provide your input! It matters a lot!
PS: Also, does anyone know if the campus appeals ever go through? I'd love to be in and around Chicago for personal reasons.
