I did one interview on February of 2018 (for class of 2022, didn't get in) and stayed in a cheap hotel the night before (forgot the name, but the hotels there are pretty decent). This most recent trip on October (for class of 2023) I stayed at a REALLY cheap air-bnb (only 27/night) for 3 nights just so I can have fun and get to learn the city. Looking back on it I would definitely stay in a hotel within a mile of the campus (theres atleast half a dozen) and not use an air-bnb; I had a wonderful time staying over at some guys place but the city is fairly sketchy to say the least (a TON of fun though, just a heads up lol)
I walked by the aquarium numerously, and while it looked really nice it was also terribly expensive (I think 40-50 bucks!). I've heard good things about it, but being a marine bio major I think I've seen enough fishy's to not be inclined to spend that type of money lol.
If you're looking to have fun make sure to go to the inner harbor and just walk around. The bar scene is a ton of fun, the oysters are delicious, and the community is full of young souls.
