The school has a pretty good rotation set up that gets you experience in a variety of areas, but rotations are a little heavy in med/fam/rural medicine (including a 6 week rural clinic rotation that usually requires a temporary move to another location within the state). The school operates its affiliated hospital and clinics in a poor area of Tulsa, so there are apparently a lot of unique opportunities such as an STI clinic. A good thing about the matches at this school is that if you are looking at doing an ACGME residency, they have pretty good success getting matches at University of Oklahoma, University of Arkansas and at several of the Texas schools (I know of at least 2 IMs that matched at Baylor). I think the success in ACGME residencies is limited to Meds/Peds/Fam and General Surg. Very few get the more competitive ACGME residencies like Ortho/Derm. If the ACGME doesn't matter, then OSU has several of their own AOA residencies in several locations. You can opt to stay in Tulsa at OSU medical center where they have just about every residency possible and multiple Cards fellowships, or if you are a small town type of person and prefer PC, they offer residencies at smaller city/county hospitals. My information is limited, but I hope this helps.
