I would also like to point out that there are some people in the slack who have not been removed who do not plan to attend. Not sure how many, but I know some personally
I'm not sure how different it is for OSU-COM, but one of my best friends is a 4th year VetMed student at OSU; she said their classes also used slack and there were quite a few (she said something like 15 or more) faculty and admin people in the group with her class. So, it doesn't necessarily mean there are 165 people currently admitted and committed to the new class. It could very well be much lower, but that still gives a nice, rough estimate given we're nearly approaching April.I would also like to point out that there are some people in the slack who have not been removed who do not plan to attend. If you’re already willing to pack and go somewhere else, I don’t see the harm in reaching out and expressing interest? Anyone think otherwise?Radio silence since being complete in August. I'm OOS but have state-ties. Should I reach out at this point or wait until the last rush of April/early May? Reason being is I'm kind of set going elsewhere and have to pack/plan, but just lingering to any last hope h
When did you and friend get the acceptance callMy friend and I were both accepted off the waitlist! My friend interviewed early January and was accepted with choice of either campus. I interviewed late February and got an offer to Tahlequah. I got my acceptance call a day or two before my friend did.
Waitlisters, they are actively looking back on applicants to accept. Later interviewers, you have as good of a shot as anyone into getting in. GAP/bridge hopefuls, there is still time for them to give interviews and acceptances before the graduate certificate program starts in June. Applicants waiting for the interview invite, there is still a whole month left! Those who fear they may get nothing but a rejection in May… Keep persevering. I was a reapplicant for this cycle. Ms. Yoder’s application feedback is liquid gold. Keep working on yourself and do not give up your dreams!
Would you mind sharing any of her liquid gold application feed back? I have some friends who are gearing up for a re-app who have asked me for advice but n=1 so my feed back is maybe liquid copper at bestMy friend and I were both accepted off the waitlist! Definitely suggest to them they meet with her! There is always a re-applicant feedback session she schedules with people who are interested. Usually, you'll schedule it in advance, and she'll have time to gather all the information from your specific application and go over your strengths and areas you could improve to increase your chances when you reapply.Would you mind sharing any of her liquid gold application feed back? Interviews go all the way till the end of April so theres still a few more left! Don’t give up yet!are they still offering interviews
For anyone who submitted the scholarship application they sent out via email a few months back, do you remember when they said they'd begin awarding scholarships?
I was admitted into the grad cert program. I know the classes begin June 12th but that is it currently.Hey! Does anyone have any information on the bridge program? Any interviews for those who only applied to bridge/GAP?
If you’re not a GAP/Bridge student and plan to apply, don’t take your MCAT for granted. You also don’t wanna slack on your classes. It’ll help you during application season.I was admitted into the grad cert program. I know the classes begin June 12th but that is it currently.
I am sure there is going to be more movement once students start committing to OU. Several names in the OU GroupMe overlap with people in the OSU slack. Definitely send in your updates if you have any!Has anybody gotten off the waitlist within the last few weeks?
I called today, and it was confirmed they are no longer offering interviews for this application cycle. There is still hope for those of you on the wait lists, but for people who haven't interviewed for this cycle, at least we can all start planning for this summer and the following cycle to be ready. Don't forget that Admissions typically offers feedback for applicants who aren't accepted at the end of the cycle. I would highly suggest scheduling one if you want to reapply for the next cycle.I'm not certain at all, but I think this is this last week for interview invitations to be extended. I know they typically interview throughout April, and I also think they usually call applicants to schedule interviews two weeks out. I could be wrong, of course, but I think that's how things go.
With that being said, I'm manifesting some good news for us all. If what I think is true, tomorrow/today (04/14) is the last day they'll be reaching out to offer/schedule interviews for this cycle. I'm putting all the good vibes and manifesting energy and well wishes that at least one of us gets a call tomorrow. Good luck, everyone! You're all great and it will happen for you- you'll make it happen! ☺️
Did anyone else get a waitlist inquiry email?
Did you get a similar notification earlier, got one email in February but not this oneDid anyone else get a waitlist inquiry email?

First round of official rejections are out! Ask me how I know!
Made me log into the portal just to be rejected….so done
If you got an A at that institution and you like it I would say take it. Ask yourself if you could see yourself enjoying being there for the next four years, if yes then you have your answer.Hello! I’m currently on the waitlist and have been since September, I’ve updated twice to stay active on the waitlist. I’ve been accepted to two other schools and one is wanting an affidavit signed with my commitment. With still being on the waitlist at osu I’m hesitant to sign the affidavit, has anyone had to do or seen something similar where it affected their waitlist spot?
very IS heavyhi! does this school take a lot of out of state residents? or mostly just in-state oklahoma residents?
I figured! Thanks for the reply!very IS heavy
A lot of people are waitlisted tbh (about 50-75% of the incoming class) and it can range from months to weeks but generally, waitlist movement doesn’t really start till spring. How many in this group were initially waitlisted and eventually accepted? How much time passed from waitlist to acceptance? TY
