Okay so my thoughts on Matt, I agree with mightyrunner that I believe the self-vote in and of itself was a joke. However, the way Matt has responded to questioning has me suspicious of him. I've gathered some quotes from other players and their questioning/commentary regarding matt and will give my commentary as well.

I really appreciate AM catching this wording Matt used. The wording he used almost implied that he knew who was village vs wolf. Village with poor wording choice? Maybe. Wolf who slipped on the intel he is privy to? Also, maybe.

I do think it's fair to question why matt would self-vote, it's definitely an odd move. I think he could have very easily said it was a joke and left it at that, I would have brushed that off. It's the fact that he dug in and got defensive and has back-tracked that is even weirder.
Going back to my very initial thought though, it just doesn't make sense that w!matt would try to yeet himself. That seems stupid, but maybe that's what he wants us to think.
Ugh the more I dug into this the more I found that I was right back to where I started, unsure.

What gets me about this entire thing is Miranda was entirely neutral about everything D1, including Matt, but votes me for seemingly either 1) being neutral about Matt, just like she was or 2) wants to join a random train without much reasoning (which would subsequently be a misyeet). I don't know which it is because she did not give any reasoning for her vote. The entire thing just seems very wagon-y.

I think from what I can tell his self-vote was a very poorly received joke, which I agree. It isn't so much that he voted himself, but when pushed got defensive and backtracked.

I would find it strange if anyone truly defended Matt, which it seems like you did at first, because how do we know matt can be trusted? We don't. We haven't flipped anyone, the only noodles that know who each other is is the pack.

You said that you think people who have defended matt seem less sus to you, but that completely contradicts what you just said!

This isn't particularly sus except the last part, perhaps it was a genuine misunderstanding, but my message was intended to convey exactly why people who defended Matt were less sus to me. It just seems like trying to twist what I was saying around.

ehh I did my ISO on matt and ultimately came to the conclusion that I agreed with my initial thought, weird move and doesn't make any logical sense as a wolf. However, I had already said I would look into it further to really get clarity on it.
Since all my original quotes disappeared I had to go back and read through everything AGAIN (ugh) I found that while he was becoming defensive and that was pinging me, I came back to where I started. It's weird and doesn't make sense, I didn't think it was worthwhile to continue pursuing matt at that point. So I didn't vote him.

Still neutral on Matt, but where is the reasoning behind voting me, or sus/evaluation of any other players?

That is a great question that I am not entirely sure of because I don't trust any of my reads. But Tbh that whole veggie thing I explained about how I never would have thought of using the reasoning "wolves know all the villagers" has me basically ignoring everything veggie has done otherwise because I put them firmly in village land then. Obvi strong evidence would change that, but haven't seen strong evidence against veggie

A tinfoil theory would be that I seem like an easier vote today than clem would have been, so yeet clem now. But I don't think that's what happened.

Yeah, I think that is true, but wasn't the move to avoid a tie? Since we don't really know what happens on tie I feel like avoiding them is good.

Iirc, while the miranda posts about you may seem empty on a ISO, I think they are replying to stuff happening on thread. Like, for example, I remember ... SAR? I think saying some stuff that made you sus, and then Miranda replying the part about liking your wagon more. So in a sense, I think miranda is doing +1s to stuff happening on thread. Or -1 if anything with stuff regarding to the clem wagon.


Besides that, I can agree that content on miranda seem to be to narrow-y .

Thio I want to say the vote on Dubz wasn't fully a joke. Dubz can be super more towny when they rand villa pls and I am not seeing much convincing reasons to have such confidence on villa readng there . I have them nicely put in my null pile for now. Their D1 was highly amusing so we keep those.

I think my vote on Mighty is of more value rn than keeping it on Dubz to see if I fish a worthy reaction from it.

I think now is a good time to poke at players like Mighty-Veggie-Miranda-Mkg .

Honestly you're just unlikely to see me play this game the way you've seen me play before. I just don't have the time. If that means I sit in null whatever, but if you're looking for the Dubz you're familiar with, you're not going to find her as easily this game, and I said that before rand.

Oh no, a wolfy pop-in schedule update. Like am I just picking up on new players talking differently than I’m used to, why are almost all of my pings on newbies. That’s generally bad news for my reads.

FTR Wonda has sounded pretty okay to me. Nothing to really village read her on but her concerns yesterday sounded more like “I think you’re sus for pushing matt for reasons that I think are bs and might be manufactured sus TM” (which IMO is a perfectly reasonable way to read a push on someone you’re neutral on) than “I think you’re sus for pushing matt”. Her hedginess/exploring multiple possibilities in the same post is consistent with her previous games so NAI to me.

Meh I don't quite have AM in my village blocc yet though I am leaning her village. Waiting to see what she does today.

samac is more clearly village to me but I'm basing that largely on how she's interacted with me, so I can see how you wouldn't have access to the same vibe. I don't think what she's done here would be how she would try to pocket me though, I'd expect it to be a bit more subtle lol granted I haven't played with wolf!samac in about a year.
