Sorry, I was being a dick.

My less tired/grumpy self rewords that as: You usually don't have such a strong appearance in the thread (which you explained is because you had time off work) but you are seeming more combative in your posts as well. The comparison being from games I have played with you, which is a very minimal amount.

I was actually about to go get annoyed and ask where exactly I said that you were obnoxious, then went and looked at my post again and low and behold there it was. Whoops.

lynch dyachei

mainly because of her "i didn't even vote to lynch SOV" comment yesterday, when she was trying to show how unreasonable I was being. She knows as well as anyone that a smart wolf adds fuel to the fire and then sits back and watches it explode. And she is a smart wolf. Trying to act all innocent in that back and forth yesterday still doesn't sit well with me. Not as enthusiastic about it today, but I don't have anything better.

I didn't vote you because I was trying to gain clarity by asking questions. It wasn't meant to be a distraction or any other nonsense.
 
SOV claimed to have lied to the wolf(ves) several times in the message that was sent out to them. And announced to everyone that messages would be sent via the write up. The message was indeed received, but all of that doesn't mean that SOV was lying about being chaotic when that was mentioned to the wolves. Something is bothering me about those shenanigans, and I can't exactly put my finger on what it is. Maybe that it is hard to imagine a villager who can contact all other groups in the game and send embedded messages... who squanders the potential of that ability by telling us all about it when there really wasn't much of a bandwagon against them to require so much revelation. SOV is a smart, experienced player, who I would have expected to have been more subtle in the use of that ability. Others have also mentioned that it seems like something is off about SOVs play... that it is maybe more involved than usual.

I don't know anything for sure, but something does seem strange. For now:

I know Trilt has used this ability before, I think it was in Rick & Morty. Might have been a neutral role though, I'd have to look back.

TBH, I am not sure there was much to do with this role. When I have seen it before, it has mostly been toothless, especially since the messages are one way. Not really useful. I tried a ploy and so far it hasn't worked, but it was more than most would have gotten out of the role.

And it doesn't take much for a bandwagon against me to be irreversible. I am an easy person to lynch due to my "shenanigans". :shrug:

PBC is not lynchable while in the nether.

The last paragraph of the write-up is referring to the image at the top, which is my Minecraft variation of the Dali painting... I was working on <2hrs of sleep in a moving vehicle, I apologize for being even less clear than I was aiming for. Both deaths were villagers.

I can see where that would be so. Heck, I think I'm in that glass house, too. I don't know where else to go, though. The person I most wanted to question is out in the nether. I'm really likely to look for a better target, as I'm not really convinced about you one way or the other. It is just good to get conversations going before 8pm. The lynch that doesn't start until the last half hour is almost always a bad lynch.
 
Are our starting numbers important? I notice that dead and nethered people keep their roster number. Is that for ease of reinserting those who return from the nether (and potentially any resurrectees) into their original locations?

There is a small possibility it means something, but as someone who has modded from time to time, usually it is nothing more than either keeping bookkeeping simple, or laziness to renumber (or in this case making it easier to keep track of who to insert where for PM-ing purposes).

Yep, it was neutral in R&M.

Lynch Crayola, she just seems quieter and less involved than she was in the jdh game.

When DVMD was in The Nether I was told I could PM with the new person under me nyanko but if DVMD came back from The Nether and was placed below me again she would return the being my sole under me PM partner.
 
You may open a PM with the person below you, no matter what sort of contortions the roster does. Just keep a close eye for changes.

When I'm not running this from my phone I will be better about notifying people when people move, promise. 🙂
 
I'm still not feeling totally good about Ally. After I mentioned my suspicions of her D1, she seems to have gone very quiet on the thread strategywise. I could put another lynch vote that way if nothing better comes along.

SOV defense today has me less inclined to lynch, but he is still higher on my list of someone who may be chaos.

I have no feelings whatsoever on Genny. I would be willing to put a vote there if I agree with whatever WZ was getting feels from
 
What do people thing about people not wanting to talk on PMs? I think if someone is doing that they may not be a wolf because a wolf would want to be able to find out info about their PM partners that the partner may not out on the thread? Not sure.

I have no communication ability / items / whatever that would give me any new info, and have developed no theory of game that's consistent with my old info. So quiet because I just have no clue.

Zen was chatty by PM, so I had a sense of her. Dy, not so much, but "she didn't talk to me so must be a wolf" is pretty bad logic. And SOV has been chatty all over the thread, but not in any sort of way that gave me insight into his villagery-ness or lack thereof.

So an early-forming bandwagon that might get me more info looks better to me than the alternatives. I anticipate being available we get closer to close, if I get waffle-worthy info.

Still feeling guisantes is wolfy. D1 literally just voted for someone with no explanation. When asked for a reason, ignored the question and didn't respond. Today comes in with a vote and at least offers "minor feels" but that is obviously a non-committal "I wanna be able to defend this vote later" type of deal.

Super super sketchy play from guisantes so far.

Hey now - calling someone's play style obnoxious is calling their PLAY STYLE obnoxious, not their personality. And c'mon - your play style is crazy often. You know that. You pride yourself on it. And it makes you fun to play with.

I established a permanent PM connection with MJ courtesy of an item. We only exchanged basic info, but in his response to me, he did identify his role ability: "I'm a Dali painting that can send a message or piece of media to someone each night."

Also, the "Zen talked a lot so I had a sense of her" is why I moved my vote to Hmoo, despite not necessarily disbelieving moo's village claim (which was later revealed to be truthful). I wasn't willing to have someone I strongly believed to be village die to save someone I weakly believed to be village. Voting for someone with a higher odds of being a wolf wasn't going to save Zen at that point, at least from my perspective. Not that it helped in the end.

But then on day 2, her reasoning suddenly flips - now people who stayed away from the Zen vote are suspicious, even though Zen ended up being a villager. To me this really reads as reaching for a reason to get on the finn wagon. Along with the fact that she called finn "quiet" (I don't know if they have played together before, but finn is never the most talkative player) when genny herself had posted even fewer times than finn had at that point. Not to mention, as we have said before like...a lot, quiet does not equal wolf. In the absence of other wolfy evidence I find it a very, very weak argument.

Tenuous as always, search your own feelings before agreeing with me because I'm usually wrong about everything, but there ya go.

This did make me remember that we definitely shouldn't let BBC fall by the wayside, in case Zen was right about her. I don't remember if BBC ended up actually revealing to anyone or not.
 
Not getting any good lynch feels based on the chatter today. Minor pings on genny and wondering about this crayon person. Feel like I'm forgetting who else is playing so will re read and decide who to vote

Honestly, I think you kind of created a mountain out of nothing from the beginning.

I mean, how else should WZ have mentioned she was attacked? Should she not have mentioned it? I mean, I really can't pick up anything bizarre from WZ's post at all.

Then I had the same exact questions as dyachei asked yesterday of you, which basically boiled down to, we have evidence of no wolf kill and someone claiming an attack, so simplest explanation would be wolf attacked WZ so what would you be proposing happened if not that? Yes, I know you've already addressed all of this.

Then the lynch on dyachei here, I didn't see dyachei's questions odd yesterday. They were the same thoughts I had, just I couldn't ask them.

Honestly, I really do think you are over reading things and making mountains out of very insignificant things. But that's just my feeling on all of this.

I also had guis feels yesterday with one of his erm her? posts. Then saw your comment yesterday saying you were suspicious because of it, I think I liked that comment. I'd have to go back to find the specific post that made me suspicious. But I'm ok with placing my vote here

Some people just don't like PMing. I have games where I don't do it at all because I can't devote the time to making sure I'm not being played behind the scenes. Or they just have nothing to say that they don't think would be better put out in the open on the thread. You take a risk when you PM someone that you are giving a wolf info which might not reach the villagers, or might be damaging. So I wouldn't say it's indicative of wolfiness either way, in my opinion.

It can go either way and usually is just based off play style. Also, depends on roles available in the game (wolves are less reliant on pms when they have a seer ie.)

Hm....To me I am not getting much from that. Just seems like she was being wishy washy because she didn't know what she believed.

I would be more comfortable going with Guis, particularly after what LIS posted. I agree that Guis has been around long enough to explain votes each day.

Ally's defense isn't stellar, but then again it isn't incriminating.

I gotta book it now before I'm late to work #2, so I will make my vote today

Case against guis is flimsy. D1 posted "lynch ....", gave no reason, didn't bother to respond when asked for a reason. D2 posted "lynch ... for mild feels". I just feel like it's pretty weak play - not giving any input at all, and throwing out pointless lynch votes. So I'm lynching because either guis is wolfy, or guis needs to step up his/her play.
