Depending on the remainder of the game state, I guess I would not be surprised if we had a convert wolf and this supposed alpha left. That seems to check out as far as numbers go if MJ is ACTUALLY a 3P.

6 non-village (3 wolves, SK, neutral shorty, MJ??) would be 20%. I agree that’s a low proportion of wolves but for balance purposes, a convert is a much “stronger” wolf, and an alpha (or yeet avoidance) counts in practicality as 2 cycles.

There certainly could be an additional scum out there, but I’m not discounting the possibility of a low percentage considering what we think we know about the game design.

Several of us, including shorty, noticed that Sporty is playing inside of her wolf meta. We just didn't want to push her on it because her wolf meta is being nicer, less argumentative, less combative, and it seemed like a jerk moved to punish her for acting that way.

that wasn’t my reason for it, but it’s also a good enough reason to want to pursue that.

I’m just paranoid he’s worse for us than he’s letting on I guess. And I feel like Cray sounds like village cray, not that my reading card on her is valid anymore.

I don’t think cray is neutral. I think her reaction to the shorty flip would have been very different.

There are some minor things that have bothered me with Barks, but I don’t think I’m interested in a Barks yeet today.

Some of her posts strike me as more village and I feel like her game solving efforts are legitimate.

I think there’s better options to explore today.

I mean yesterday, you said that barks was in your POE... so why the sudden change now? i don't see any game solving efforts on my end, curious to see where you see them.

In seriousness I don’t really agree with this take. I think Sporty is village, and saying “including shorty” is a bit of a stretch since she was willing to clear Sporty for being an early vote on Paws.

I’m not ruling out the possibility of conversions or different factions, but for now, I feel pretty confidently that Sporty is village.

Tying her to Cray and saying she was defending her is a big stretch. From my eyes she really just asked Samac why she thought the Cray vote was compelling.

I do actually find the Cray vote compelling myself. I think she’s playing differently than the last several games she’s played where she’s been village. There are some similarities to Bioshock!Cray that have me concerned, like her seeming to want to use 3Ps as a distraction tactic. If she does flip wolf, I don’t think sporty would be my first choice to follow up.

The reason for me is that while I don't see the whole "barks is villagey" thing, I have noticed that barks has pushed cray multiple times now. I don't see barks doing that if cray/barks are w/w.
HOWEVER if cray ends up 3P, barks is definitely not clear by me. I still believe in my iso, but I've been dead wrong in the past, too.

My trying to read Barks has been an adventure and a roller coaster for sure. I wouldn’t say I’m good at reading her.

In general I’m reading this recent posts from yesterday and I feel like I can see them coming from a pro village game solving mindset.

Who said it was solely based on others opinions? IIRC I said that after reading an ISO so it’s not like I was just like “oh this person said this person is sketchy so that must be true”. I didn’t have reads on them either way at the time so I was using discussion to build reads on them.

I don’t care if it’s a good look or not, I’m not going to ignore that someone who agreed with me multiple times has also not reevaluated their wolfy read of me and the only time they said otherwise was when they were pressed on it. It’d be sketchy no matter who they were talking about so

Good point, Sporty can bus, but in my case (when wolfing with her) we fake- pushed each other on thread before she voted for me and I was def going down. I agree her tone is different as True says but yeah. Maybe not a priority at this point. She’s probably not a wolf thanks to that vote.

This is like, WW 101, if the village doesn't have a seer the mods have made concerning decisions, is it common to have seerless games these days?

I’m more apt to leave neutrals alone for the time being and hunt the wolves.
