Alright, I've got 10 d20s and I'm ready to roll 🙂

Day 1: Friendly Fire

Nobody even tried to make small talk. Just moments into the first day, everyone was already at each other's throats.

"Wherewolf?"

"THEREWOLF!"

"No.

You're a wolf

And I'm

PISSED"

From there the accusations swirled around the table, even landing on people who hadn't even sat down to dinner yet. Some felt the need to claim their value to the group. Others simply claimed innocence.

Ultimately, the group honed in on one guest. In a manor full of so many haunting visages, should they trust the friendly face? Or was this just one of the manor's many deceptions? Despite his protestations that he was a harmless teddy bear, it seemed nobody would believe him.

Then, at the VERY last instant--a final voice spoke up and said a different name. One that had been spoken all day, but had seemingly been discarded. The group looked, stunned at the sudden final shift as the clock struck the top of the hour.

The group was deadlocked, and they felt a sudden sinister weight settle upon the group.

Alas. The house had already set its sights on the kind, friendly soul--someone so pure could not persist in this haunted manor for any period of time. A red, swirling portal opened up behind him and began drawing him in.

All the while, he continued to smile, even as his body faded to reveal the glowing spirit within. It's clear he meant no harm to the living, and even as he finally was swallowed up, he bid his fellow companions well.
