Oh I would claim if I was about to be yeeted, I mean I wouldn't have done it preemptively at SOD. If roles are loud that means nobody acted on me last night, so claiming was pointless.

I believe Santy's claim, it doesn't bother me that it's similar.

AM isn't giving off full blast village energy like that game, but it's still enough that I feel pretty strong in my read on her.

I've also seen enough from you to say you're Village Sporty pretty confidently.

I *hate* that most of the answer is tone but it is. I understand that I've only seen her scum once, but the energy of her questioning and her response to anyone questioning her feels very different. Prepared to have egg on my face but I don't think I will.

Okay lol, I didn't know that and it completely decides the day for me. I have never heard of players being told "you were tracked" or some such, but if that's a thing around here (even if not 100% certain in every game, it sounds common?), then much of the confusion here seems like it was silly from the start. That's a clear motive for Nate to do everything that he did today.

I would be careful to totally seal the day on this alone, it really is inconsistent.

Can those on my vote explain why you're on my vote?

I'm not dead-set on you. It's just that you having a really strong wolf game makes everything else make sense and feel clearer. It feels like a clean solution to why identifying a pack is so difficult right now.

Typing this out, I also think I have a recency bias problem this game. People feel wolfy until they're back, then I get sad and want to vote for someone else.

@Truenamer if you want to sell me on Clem, I will listen.

I just don't really buy whatever got everyone else unsold on Clem. Feel like he's doing a great job of posting just enough to feel present without sticking his neck out or raising any hairs. Clean glide path.

Regardless I'm still just a visitor so my role is no great loss

I dislike this attitude from someone claiming to be a villager, Nate. We get *very few* misyeets. Don't be one of them. That's why I liked Empire's spice earlier- every single villager death matters in games this small.

Nate is basically neutral for me right now but still within the POE so I'm not sure which part of my approach is bugging you

Actually that's kind of convenient that I just went back and reminded myself of HZD because I parked my vote on a wolf for three game days straight. In GGoats I also parked my vote on a wolf for multiple days straight. I definitely would not say it's unusual for village!April to park a vote and sometimes she's even right.

For @Truenamer and anyone else confused about Clem:

I get it. Clem can have that effect. For whatever it's worth, his approach to this game has been pretty much standard Clem. This is how he plays the game. I haven't actually seen him in the mafia alignment much (if at all, seriously can't remember a game even if it seems likely there's been one), but I've seen him town often.

The thing that most moved me was the way he responded to nearly being eliminated on Day 1. "Fine, whatever, not a big deal to chop me, my role is bad for town. Just make sure you don't fall for Jay's cute eyes" -- I've seen that before in the very recent past from town Clem, and I tend to doubt he was putting on a show for my sake. I also think he has handled the Nate-related mechanics of today in a way that is prototypical Clem.

I am not super confident, but I feel decent about it by the standards of this game (where I don't feel decent about much else -- if everyone seems town, then by definition everyone also seems mafia. Eek!).

Also, that's not what I received. I received a sprig of thyme which apparently does nothing (after very persistent mod questioning) that I originally thought might be a thing related to Samac's role. Receiving "thyme" my initial impression was like... Did I receive extra "time" like it would delay my death somehow or? But nah, Zenge shrugged and told me I should just make soup with it or something if I was so determined to use it.

If there's any tendency on this site for people to be informed when they have been tracked or watched, then it provides a clear motivation for Nate to have made his get-out-in-front claim that I didn't know existed before. I have never heard of that being a thing anywhere else, so being informed of that here was kind of like a "well, sheesh, that's extremely important" moment.

I saw the claim, just wondering why people suddenly switched to thinking it was wolfy because of realizations about actions maybe being loud or something. I've picked up on bits and pieces in my skimming but I'm stupid and need someone to explain it to me

Sorry, answered once in a big post, will try and do better here.

I was the first vote on you because when I did a broader analysis of my reads list, the only people at the bottom were new folks. Clem, then Nate, then Empire.

I was never village reading you as much as the general consensus, and there's also been a general feeling today that it's very hard figuring out who fits as a pack. To me, that feels like a wolf is sitting in the consensus town reads. JJJ was vouching for Clem, Empire won me over over the course of the day (enough, at least), and there was already a healthy wagon on Nate. It didn't feel useful to be vote five or six or whatever on him.

So I put the first vote on you to try and generate some more discussion and stir the pot a bit. It was never a lock-on read or anything. And I just haven't found a better person to move to yet.
