california resident looking for a good school nearby. 3.98 GPA and 31 MCAT, and interested in University of Colorado. Anyone have pros or cons?

you will have a tough time getting in CU. their instate average MCAT is a 32. Your GPA will help you alot but I would think you would still have a hard time. Lots of CA applicants to CU for only about 30 out of state seats. Still try, you never know

OOS tuition for U of Colorado is one of the highest of all of the medical schools. I believe it is somewhere near 70 or 80k.

The website is not accurate for OOS tuition.

OOS for UCHSC are considered "Accountable Students" with regard to tuition. The non-resident tuition listed on the above website is not correct for OOS US citizens. It might be the cost for international students but I don't know for sure.
