There is...but I think only if you have a prematch offer already. When I logged into enter match preference and clicked on Or View it now shows a Decline next to TCOM and Accept/Decline next to Texas Tech for me.

This is true. When I click it, all it says, in flashing red, you do NOT have multiple offers from schools. That's the same message we had before the prematch date I believe.

Thanks...but I'll probably be a bit more reserved on celebrating until I know it is 100 percent positive. It's a lot like when I got my prematch from TCOM early. Crazy year!

Hi all! I'm a LONG time lurker on this thread, should have posted a few times but I guess I'm too shy. FluShot, you rock, i really hope you get in. Same goes for everyone else too.

So on that "Or View" does anyone know what that means? Because I was pre-matched at UTMB but ranked it #2 behind TCOM (#1). I really hope the fact that I have the accept decline option means I got accepted, that would be a load off my shoulders for many reasons.

and the super bowl this year I think will be terribly boring, the Steelers are going to walk all over the Cardinals.

The consensus is that if you see that option, you got accepted. Especially if it says 'decline' only next to UTMB... The safe thing would be to wait till Friday, but congratulations nonetheless!

Congrats on the prematch! It's nice to have solidarity, but that's also great that you hope for good news from TCOM.

Yes. But it doesn't work for anyone anymore. Apparently they have corrected it. We'll find out Friday if our "sneak peek" was accurate.

yeah, it was a big relief but at the same time vexing. My girlfriend has a good stable job in Fort Worth that she is committed to so Galveston would certainly stretch things. Also, TCOM's teaching style I think will suit me better than UTMB's self paced thing so I've really been rooting for TCOM (for other reasons too).

I'll be up with you guys on whatever night it is keeping my fingers crossed! I hope its very soon...

So I guess when they told OOS'ers (I interviewed two days before Thanksgiving) that they were going to wait until the end of January to let us know---that they did in fact mean it. I wish they would just let us know already. This midwest ice storm may have shut down things a bit today though.

The funny thing is they probably already put in the automated match rankings in the system. I'm sure they do it early every year, but I guess they set dates for a reason 🙁

TCOM actually shut down today due to ice, and im expecting it to be closed tomorrow too. i spoke to admissions for you guys and they said they havent finished submitting their rank list to tmdsas yet. they were supposed to have final meetings today and tomorrow and then fax the list over by thursday. im assuming this incliment weather may just screw this all up for you guys and you may have to wait even longer than fri midnight to find out if you matched or not. im sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys.

That's extremely unfortunate that we won't hear this weekend even though they'll get it in on time. What could take TMDSAS that long to input it? Also, what happens to those people like dr rude who put TCOM first but already prematched with UTMB?

It seems like a pretty big mess if you ask me. Will they make an announcement on the secondary page or something?

Thanks for the heads up. In the meantime I will just look for solace in Scrubs and the sounds of Mark Gormley (a true musical genius). BTW, since I am not in the ranking/match process being an OOSer (even though I am in-state now) do you think it will be a longer wait or about the same time frame? I kind of believed that they would be delayed, but I found it odd that they wouldn't have submitted their rankings yet.

As for this weekend, I'll probably just hang out with some friends, work out and run some errands. Also watch the superbowl of course, which I'm not really interested in.

Over here in AZ, the Superbowl is getting to be quite the event. Several classmates are probably going to hit the scene, but I'm more of a homebody, regardless of the occasion. I'm from Dallas, so I'm not really interested in the game either, but I have to say I do like the energy the city is giving off in light of it.
