I wasn't saying you were a regular seer, but it seems like a very powerful glean seer, where you get information about people who did things to you overnight, but you're saying you get their ability and name. Which IMO is essentially like a reverse/passive ability seer, the way you're claiming it.
 
I have a reservation for dinner with my fiancé in an hour and I've basically been ignoring him and in a bad mood all day because I'm getting lynched. So, I'm going to go get ready and go have a good time. I'm going to try one last time: don't lynch me. You'll be lynching a villager. Give me a chance, I'll do whatever you want me to do. But. If I do die, take a look at who bandwagoned on me. Peace out.
 
The trouble with proving that ability is that it's dependent on people targeting you and even if they do, there's no way to confirm behind the scenes.

That said, the gut isn't really there on this one.

And now I am just bored by the stalemate with hazel and discussing old games and PMs.....

Can we stop repeating the same thing over and over again like a broken record and discuss something else? Or we could just leave it on hazel to get past this whole shenanigans.

@hazelmoo correct me if I'm misquoting you because I don't have time look back right this minute

You seemed positive that you would be able to prove your ability tonight. That seems weird to me with what your claim is because it's a passive ability so whether it gets proven is out of your hands. You can't be certain people were going to look into you. I should know--I spent days trying to get people to look at me when I had this role in the minecraft role because they kept wanting to lynch me because I couldn't prove my ability. No such luck... even after I revealed to some people and they also tried to get people to look at me. At any point before the reveal did you even tell people that they should look into you tonight or otherwise try to encourage people to do so?

It does sound very powerful. @hazelmoo what does your description say?

Now, all of that said I don't think I've ever played a game where this role was a wolf one but it is one that could go either way.

I haven't ran the statistical probabilities, but I probably post more when I'm a wolf than when I'm a villager. And pay a lot more attention, with one exception (the game I was Rojo, I think). Mostly because I was lynched and rezzed.

Don't let being lynched ruin your dinner. It sucks, and I know it does, but real life is a lot more important. 🙂

That being said, what you're saying could come across as either wolfy or villagery, imo. :/ So I'm going to go with lynch hazelmoo. Enjoy the cooler weather, I guess? (Under 110 for a while! Woo!)
 
Lynch hmoo because the way she's phrasing her role and what she says she gets from it sounds like a pretty powerful glean seer if she gets both name and ability... Since she outed her ability it's pretty much useless for the village since, like pippy said, I doubt anyone is gonna use anything on her this game if she gets name and ability and we're not 110% positive she's village

It just seems like they were getting more and more excited as more votes went onto hmoo despite not having much to back it (at that point). If hmoo really is a villager and those players were working hard to push the lynch and getting all frothy at the mouth with excitement as votes piled on rather than because there seems to be evidence of wolfiness, doesn't it feel at least a little suspicious?

The post you quoted has a final line to the effect of "I voted Pippy yesterday, let's try genny." Basically, I am willing to go either way.

Through the rest of today, both have toned down slightly, genny more so. I don't yet know what I think. I guess a lot depends on how hmoo flips. If she is a wolf, I will have a whole different set of reads.

Tbf, the way she's describing her ability is actually LESS powerful than when I had it recently, because I had night kill avoidance on top of getting all that info.
It's not necessarily a powerful role regardless, because you're dependent on people throwing actions at you. There's no agency involved. So the utility kinda depends on whose hands it's in.

Pippy unlynched hmoo saying she still felt like she was a wolf, and genny questioned her backing off so easily without further questioning. I don't see where the push to get hmoo lynched occurs in that.

3m seems sketchy to me, for reasons I discussed earlier. Genny is also giving me slight feels, her posts have seemed rather short and aggressive in tone. AM and Coop seem slightly sketch, but not really any more than usual, could go either way there. I have you, Lupin, Ski, Jil, strider and Pippy leaning village. Everyone else seems neutral to me so far.
 
What does it mean if I voted that way yesterday as one of the first votes, even adding a tag to taunt him????????

2. Tone more than content. You are pushing less, but the giddy is still there. Genny is pushing still, but more seriously than excited.

It's feelz guys. I am trying to explain my gut. It is likely dead wrong, but I see it enough to try and defend it.

I could jump on hmoo with no explanation if that would make you feel better, but I'd rather follow my (likely wayward) gut.

What game was that, do you recall? I had this role recently in the how to get away with murder game (I think?) and I got VERY little information. I'm not sure how much input trilt has this game, but I don't see her allowing a role that powerful (I could be wrong, maybe STL could chime in with his thoughts on that).
Anyway, seems crazy to get ability AND player, so I'll place my bets.

subs is also a mod this game and was in htgawm so id think if it wasnt very powerful there it probably wouldnt be here either

I feel like the phrasing of this is a bit rough. (Not just you). I would assume it would be along the lines of "You were trapped in the staging area for the night. Superpupper's face is burned into your memory." Leaving it so that hmoo has to assume Superpupper blocked her. But whether that is an item or ability is not stated.

The mods could also make it more difficult and just say "You remember the lorikeet flying away at the end of the night." Leaving her with no real info.

But since the role is so dependant on other people's decisions to have any utility at all, I see it as less powerful than keeps being stated.

If we had more info, this could be such a lovely 2 for 1 test.
"Hey, sketchtastic! Please use your sketchy sounding ability on hmoo and then we can decide which of you needs to be lynched based on morning results."

Hmm... it is a thought for later games I guess.
 
The hmoo lynch feels slight bandwagon-y and I'm not sure if I'm 100% sold or not...some of the things she's said about her role don't seem quite right, though.

I have some slight feels regarding Lyra, Jill +/- Lupin but idk

I don't know about 3m but I was a little startled D1 - jumping on the sheltermed vote (that was so not a done deal) without getting caught up on the day's play first seemed odd. Not giving me enough feels for me to change my vote, though.
 
I mean, we'll see soon enough how today's vote turned out, and that could shift things around enough for my right now feels to be moot.

Hmoo got caught in a lie and twisted story about Rojo - no reason for villagers to get caught in lies. The ability is...plausible, but if it truly is a passive effect like she said, it being public knowledge makes it essentially useless. So a player with a useless ability, caught in a lie, and being pretty aggressive about things in general. Hm. Granted, I'm not totally sure how she usually is (I don't recall WWing much if any with her before; my memory may just be shoddy though). Not simply trying to bandwagon, but I don't have any other major suspicions or feels on anyone else right now. The whole runaway vote on LOTF the start of day 1 was odd, but not totally sure what to make of it right now. I'm not trying to hop on a bandwagon and am open to reconsidering votes of course. It just seemed a reasonable pick to me.
