I like the idea of a cubs lynch but not for the reasons you're thinking. He's been trying to sell me a story about you and dolphin being wolves because you said you believe dolphin isn't a wolf yesterday. In PM he's been painting it as a wolf protecting her packmate.

I tried to point out that you and dolphin are right next to each other (without explicitly stating that you [pippy] were probably PM'ing dolphin and dolphin did something in PM to convince you that dolphin was village.
He either has blinders on and is tunneling or is adamantly a wolf trying to sell me a story about you.

I'm also not very comfortable about the way he was grilling people about items last night. He seemed way too interested in figuring them out as if he is a wolf that realized there's something he doesn't know about and got too into it.

And now this push on alissa trying to twist my words. I don't like it

Negatory, we exchanged some pleasantries and then both of us were busy on different days so we really didn't communicate about the game and I pretty much told you exactly that in PM when you asked about Alissa.

This. Specifically, she brought up that I was potentially sketchy because no one had pushed me as sketchy, something which I had been wondering about myself since earlier that day. Usually wolves like to be like "oooOooh but what if Pippy is tricking us!" when I'm village, and I've been like...largely ignored as a candidate so far and have even been high up on a bunch of village lists, which makes me think I'm being pocketed or the wolves just don't know they can dangle me as a big bad scary wolf decoy.

It's weird, and I felt like it was more village of dolphin to be like "what the heck."

She also initiated the PM with me, not the other way around, which I lean slightly more village for her than wolf.

But that's basically all I've got on her.

I asked her if she felt the need to role reveal to me yesterday when waffles were happening & she was close to the lead, and I got ignored at the time and then a big ol' nope when I asked again.

Minor sketch points to her now for genny being dead though, since they were PM partners.

Wow, this wasnt an avalanche of overexaggeration or anything. I asked your thoughts on dolphin/pippy possibly being wolves and you withheld you reads and referred me to checking their position on the roster.

I would very much like to know why certain people keep pushing their PM partners to be lynched instead of asking them in PM why they should be defended.

Particularly looking at Lawper here, who doesn't seem to have bothered to PM Ms P prior to lynching her...

And also looking at Cubs, because a Sporty N1 kill fits well with him eliminating a PM partner who can read him, and now he's trying to lynch the person who took Sporty's spot.

But Lawper's push on Ms P seems sketchier overall to me, so I'm looking for more info there first.

I didnt think that, I asked a speculatory reads question to Mel. I would be voting for you if I thought you were. I have nothing to hide in the PM. Just trying to game solve, hence my specific questions to certain people.

I don't initiate PMs with people. If someone wants to open a PM with me, i'm fine and can discuss. So for MSP, i went by what i saw from her posts and voted. She didn't open a PM with me.

Ok, then please explain why you have adopted a policy that allows high impact village power roles to needlessly die.
 
@holdthemayo I would like to hear your thoughts. After ISO'ing you, you seemed active early about the mayor thing, picked at analyzing AM for a little bit, and then got hung up on Kras but beyond that haven't really added any new ideas or information or analysis.
Who are you wolf reading? Why? Who is in your village pile? Why?

You just told me you don't want to bother with initiating a PM when you have questions about someone. That policy in this case resulted in you lynching your PM partner, who was a strong asset to the village. The "lynch first ask questions later" approach led to a waste of a villager, and is therefore anti-village.

So I would like you to justify why you think that was village game play.

Because i'm also wary of being potentially pocketed which can happen a lot more easily in PMs. Like i said, i'm fine with people PMing me and sharing thoughts and concerns. I just feel wary opening PMs with people and getting potentially misled since it's easier to get manipulated in private conversations.

Choosing not to open PMs with people because of pocketing concerns or feeling the thread provides more useful information that can't be easily misled otherwise in PMs is fine and it's not alignment indicative. If anything it's a matter of personal preference.

When people request subs it makes me want to back off and re-analyze them. I jumped off Doggo because it seemed like the vote was not gaining any traction and some of my other sketchy reads were more likely to be lynched.
 
FWIW, Pips, I have a PM with Lawps that I opened when I was cursed with lé French and I have him as pretty neutral right now. Nothing to sway me one way or the other.

Ok, you can try to explain that aversion to Ms P later, I guess.

I'm trying to give you an option to stay under the radar, but my patience is wearing thin since we are on D4 with no wolves and have a horribly ugly vote split. Not sure you will like what happens if/when I decide you're handicapping the village by remaining a hermit.

You're the second person today to say that you're jumping off votes because there are easier options.

Why are you voting for someone based on how easy it is to get them lynched?

It's not to MSP. It's in general. I'm just saying i can talk to anyone if they PM me but i'm really hesitant in opening PMs because of getting pocketed, mislead, manipulated etc. I have kept this stance before as village.

How am i handicapping village? I'm not in total isolation and people did reach out to me by PM which i responded to them.

“Easier” is not the word I would use. And like I said, when someone says they’re getting subbed out, I like to give them the benefit of the doubt for at least half a day. Particularly right now considering, ya know, life.

Why does it matter who opens the PM, if youre going to talk to them if they open the PM? Why wouldnt you just ignore it all if your fear is pocketing? In other words, fear of pocketing is there regardless of who opens the PM, so why would you talk one way but not the other?

Explain how that doesn't translate to "there were other options that were gaining traction already without having to work for it"?

Because if they open a PM with me, they want to discuss something with me and that felt important to reply.

I actually posted some of my reads last night about an hour before the lynch. Which included Genny as one of my strong village reads (unfortunately). Pip also gives me strong village vibes.


I have sketchy vibes from 3m, alyssa, zep, snowy, cubs and moose

Alyssa has only responded 1 word to me over PM so far. That makes me uncomfortable.

Cubs and Alyssa seemed to start the run on fern last night by both changing to her within a few minutes of each other.

Ok, can you quote the particular posts and messages that you think are un-sketchy? And articulate what about them makes them un-sketchy?

If all of her posts and messages are un-sketchy, why is she at mild village instead of strong village? Why are there no concerns about her pocketing you over PM?

Is there a concern about her posts that I'm missing? Because what you're asking me is to make a case on someone i have a mild village read. And i make cases when i hunt for wolves, since that's what we're looking for.

Maybe because the risk of getting pocketed by her puts her as mild village? Just because someone opens a PM with me doesn't mean they can't pocket me. I'm just saying what I saw and read. I could very well be pocketed by her but if she's sketchy or concerning, i'd like to know what i'm missing or misreading.

I've been talking to her over PM. She's been working IRL (ask her to send the pic of the foal and mom she sent over PM 😍 ) so she said she hasn't had enough time to catch up on the thread and figure out how WW works (this is her first game). But hopefully today she'll be able to respond on thread.

I was on fern for less than an hour and 2 hours before lynch closed, mainly to see how AM would react. The fact that you wont attempt to PM alissa and try to get a response is really bothersome, seeing as how its a pretty simple task and may give a fair amount of information based on how she replies or if she refuses to reply. Youre barking up the wrong tree.

What's with the accusations? How do you know for sure that they haven't tried talking to alissa?

I told you yesterday that I had messaged her, and told you today that she had messaged me back with one word. I
 
To clarify. As of yesterday she had not sent any reply. This morning I got a one word reply. I haven't hidden that information at all.

As of about an hour ago she had replied to additional messages that she's not really into the game currently. That's what I've got. Your obsession with this and insistence that I'm not replying, when I've posted about her PMs twice in the past two days just moves you further up my list.
