In any event, I'm not sure it's really a wolf!Zenge characteristic - didn't he have a relatively recent wolf game where he tried to go after cubs and TME? Both of them get sketch-read a lot and he tried to capitalize on that. I think it was in MHA, but I'll go check.

Many wolves will do both. Power wolfing and trying to get misyeets doesn't mean a wolf can't white knight other players. It's pretty rare a wolf wants to act paranoid of everyone or go after everyone or village read everyone.

As I always say, you got to pick which villagers will be your enemies, but I should also say you have to pick which ones to side with as well.

I also don't like the top contenders. The wagon formed on Pleasy very fast, but I do think that she is wolfier than bread or sloth.

So I'm begrudingly voting there but I would prefer to vote for Mel, see the post from AM and his lackluster response. It's just not a viable vote. I also am reading AM as village, so I think her logic on that post is pretty solid.

I went back to look at the one time that please wolfed (Pirate Basics) because I remember that her tone as a wolf was quite different from when she's village. She tends to be very hedgy and unsure as a villager, and it reflects in her reads, whereas when she was wolfing, she was much more confident and direct with her reads. I pulled some quotes from early game in that, and also in HZD where she was village for comparison.

The reads list that she just posted, to me, fits much more with the tone and style that I associate with her wolfing.

I know it's day 1 but usually pleasy has a lot more explanations with her reads and seems less certain

Maybe I'm wrong about him white knighting and maybe I just think that's what he's doing when I misread him. Or maybe he's become more sophisticated (I know he's done the latter, but not sure exactly in what ways his play has evolved)

I would like to amend this list slightly. I was only thinking about Mel and the current people on the board that I find sketchy. I keep forgetting that Barks is playing, which is exactly what happened when she wolfed in that sweep with Dubz (emojis???). Nobody else has really given me bad vibes or stood out to me as wolfy. Feeling the best about AM, Dina, and shorty right now.

I literally did. I posted that her reads list was odd in my catchup pretty early on, and then the next post I responded to was literally shorty's pointing out the same thing I noticed.
