It's not wolfy to vote before your role.
There is no value to pre-game declarations of busy-ness or votes. It will not help players know if you are villager in the future. It could only help a wolf try to hide in the future.
Can you feel that?
The fact that someone said, before they got their role, that they would vote for someone, tells you nothing of affiliation when they start. It is not a defense.
I did not initially believe MA's defense that she did not have her role when she placed her vote. Many wolves will try to make their D1 throwaway vote appear innocuous by being the one they discussed making before. So that was not a defense.
Noob wolves will absolutely jump on the thread right away with a jokey vote, because they want to appear "original" in the placing of their vote, so that if a hoped-for wagon starts, they can more easily distance themselves from the death. They like to appear active and helpful and enthusiastic by the early jump on the thread.
Greeny did this, Coopah did this, and I did this, as noob wolves. You have 3 solid examples of this behavior and an explained psychological rationale. Why is this so hard?
MA may not have overexplained herself relative to other players, but in the context of the timing, most of all, plus the rest I have beaten to death, it seemed suspicious.
I am backing off of this because I am inclined to believe that she did not have her role. That doesn't mean she isn't a wolf, but it does mean this wasn't a wolf move. I am inclined to believe her based on WZ backing her up, the mod's like of her post, all together. Plus I liked her defense aside from where I said I didn't like it.
