It's in the orientation packet and it seems that you just have to register for that one course and the system will automatically enroll you in the 6ish other courses we'll be taking.
 
yea i found it- its actually like 084055 or something to that effect. On the back of the sheet with the bird instructions it said you needed an 8 digit major code which was what i was wondering about. thanks!

Im on the lower third too Bubbles17. I got the email for phone numbers on the 14th and Mr Rosso said that email means that they are gettin very close to the Lower third. Did you get that email too? Lets keep hoping man!:xf::xf::xf::xf:
 
I am in the lower third too, but I didn't get an email. How sad.
 
Here is the Email I got... about as general as it gets hahaha

Dear Candidate,
The Wait List at the UB Medical School is a ranked list, and you have been placed on this list according to the final score you received after your interview here.
All openings in our Medical Class are now being filled by a DIRECT PHONE CALL to the next candidate, and if "LIVE" contact is not made, we must continue to proceed down the wait list to the next highest ranked candidate.
IT IS IMPERATIVE that you advise us in writing of all DAYTIME phone numbers (as many as you want to provide us) where you and your designees (parents, spouse, relatives, friends, neighbors) can be reached in person. We CANNOT leave ANY offer of acceptance on an answering machine or voice message system. If our phone call of acceptance is in the morning, you would have until 2:00 p.m. EDT to call us back. If our phone call is in the afternoon, you would have until 9:00 a.m. the next morning to get back to us with your final decision.
If you are accepted to another Medical School and no longer wish to remain on our wait list, it would be courteous to advise right away.

i've reapplied too. only im also set to start Georgetown SMP in 2 weeks. Trying to hold off finding housing and paying the big Georgetown tuition for as long as possible...

im guessing theyre only sending out emails to the next couple people on the wait list since the movement only seems to be a couple every week or so.
 
Yeah that could be what they are doing. I dunno from what I understood from Mr Rosso and the previous email they sent they supposedly send it to everyone in watever third is upcoming. I mean they are making every effort to be as vague as possible about the waitlist so this could be a slipup... hahahahhahaha. I was thinking about a masters program too but decided against it for that reason, too much tuition!

but....sadly, i haven't gotten it. 🙁

when i called last wk, the woman on the phone said that there has been DAILY movement!

hey guys,
i talked to mr rosso today. he said they entered the bottom third today and they only send the email out if you only have 1 contact number on file. he told me i could send him more numbers in an email if i wanted.
 
ahh ok that would make sense. I probably only had one number on file with them. How many numbers did you have on file with them? I dont remember if they asked for any numbers on the secondary application. I called today too and the lady said that they are having daily if not every other day movement!! :xf: did you ask mr rosso about the turnover?

Is this your first time around or are you a reapplicant. PM me if you don't feel like divulging. I got in on my third cycle, and I remember what it was like, hoping the waitlist would move another spot or two.
 
My friend just got in out of the LOWER 1/3--he will accept.
 
hey guys. i actually gave up hope of ever making it a while ago, reading this thread has now made me lose my ability to sleep as well. anyways, im in that bottom 1/3 as well. lets hope for the best!

I believe it's based solely on interview scores, but I have a feeling it could also be based through other things since they don't disclose waitlist rankings.
 
my friend who was on the waitlist got the call yesterday and she accepted! but im pretty much losing hope for this year its gettin so close to the end of the line... have to just gather wats left and hope for next year. its so depressing 🙁

August 10th, people get rejection letters August 11th.
 
did mr. rosso say so? i remember hearing something about someone getting an acceptance in september. but i know class starts in late august.

what's ur alternative plan, Krasnoyarsk?
 
yeah, thats what Mr. Rosso told me.
my alternative plan? Ive already submitted my primary again, waiting until the 10th to send all the secondaries out. I also applied for SGU for january, so if this cycle doesnt look too good, ill go there. Finally, if none of these things work on, i plan on being a trophy wife.
 
does anyone know how many ppl are left on the wlist? or how many ppl were originally in the bottom third?
