Hey everyone!
Do any current or graduated students of FGCU or UAB have any input on these programs?
I have heard some not so good things about FGCU (disorganized) and was wondering if this is true/has it changed?
Any advice or comments are greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Does anyone know what the St. Catherine day program in Minnesota is like? Or even the area (St. Paul)? I was accepted to A.T. Still but St. Catherine is the other out of state program I'd like to hear back from. Any pros/cons? Thoughts in general about either?
Thanks!

How do people feel about attending a school that has not yet been accredited? How does it look to employers attending a school that is newly accredited vs one that has been accredited for a long time?
I was recently accepted into MCPHS Occupational Therapy Program for the New Hampshire campus and being that it's fairly new I wanted to hear some thoughts on the program. Any previous, current or future students have any input? How are the professors and how helpful are they? Do they have good...

Hi everyone! I was wondering if any alumni or current/prospective students had any insight or opinions on Midwestern (AZ), Brenau University (Norcross), or Bay Path University. So far, I've heard back from one and am still waiting on the others. These are my top 3 right now and I just wanted to...
For those of you that have applied, have you heard back from UoM if your application has been verified and if you have submitted all necessary application materials?
Hi everyone!
Does the graduate school one attends for their MSOT or DOT really matter? (in terms of future job placement) Programs are so expensive. Applications aside, planning out interviews and paying for deposits has become extremely costly. I'm torn between picking a lower ranked...
I was wondering if there was anyone who was a former teacher (special ed in particular) who was successfully admitted into an ot program. Do they take having a full time job into consideration? I am seeing people with 100+ hours when I only have 40 but in my field of work, I communicate with the...

I'll be completing my final Level II fieldwork in NYC and I'm considering sticking around the area afterwards. I was wondering if anyone has insight on the OT landscape in the city. How are job prospects? Is compensation decent enough to make up for the high cost of living?
Hi, I plan on applying to the MOT program at FGCU and also UF for the upcoming fall 2017 cycle. I have seen posts similar to this one but some are inactive/outdated. FGCU is my top choice right now because I do like the location and it is also considerably less expensive than UF. However, UF is...
Is it possible to work part-time as a full-time student? How many hours max is manageable? If you do work, what kind of jobs do you recommend? I know it's ill advised to work during the program and I would rather NOT actually, but I do need some money here and there. I have a friend in...

Hello everyone! So I recently graduated from college in May thinking I was going to become an SLP but I have since changed my mind and decided to pursue OT. So far I'm finding the process to be so much more frustrating for OT than for SLP and I'm not even applying until next year. With SLP...

I'm a senior in high school and I'm thinking about applying to a BS/MS program (at Philadelphia University). I was wondering if BS/MS programs are easier to get into since they have less applicants (I'm assuming) or if they have the same competitiveness as graduate programs.
Thanks
