Hello OT community,

Just curious to see how many schools you all have applied to!
I applied to both doctorate and masters (had aid in paying for application fees). Total cost after transcripts, GRE scores, and application fees was about $1,050.
Hi!! So I was wondering if any of you found some of your textbooks from school to be useful, whether it's in school, for the boards, on fieldwork, or even while working. I've heard really good things about Pedretti's Occupational Therapy: Practice Skills for Physical Dysfunction and...

Hello! I was wondering if anyone applying for Nova and FIU's occupational therapy programs knows whether or not they accept IB/AP credit for some of their prerequisite courses. For FIU, it's not a huge deal if they don't because the only course I would need to take in place of the credit is...

Right now, I'm considering to both practice AND teach OT. Is it a good idea to go in the practice, then the teaching route for occupational therapy? Is it worth getting my OTD to teach? What's holding me back is that I'll be giving all four of my limbs if I choose the doctorate route...

Hello everyone,
I am having trouble deciding which program to attend in the fall. After researching the two, I know their pass rates on the NBCOT are pretty much the same. I learned AIC is roughly 100k to attend and is 3 years (but students have summers off). I also learned there isn't a...
I know most programs use cadavers for their gross anatomy class, and so does mine and I'm so nervous!
Anyone who's been through this class already have any advice?
I was wondering about people who have multiple observation hours how they record them. Are we supposed to get each individual hour signed off or could we just write 40 hours and have the OT sign off on it? If i do over hundreds of hours i was wondering if I need each hour signed off...
