Absolutely. I don't know what issues you have with LSU, but keep in mind that the view that you have of MCV is primarily based on the minimal interaction you've had on the interview trail and perhaps with current students. Your knowledge of LSU may also be thusly limited.
Until you matriculate at a school and spend a significant amount of time there, you know very little about the scope of issues affecting students. Although I only have direct experience with this school, I suspect most, if not all, medical schools suffer from the same kinds of political and bureaucratic challenges. You'll probably have a very similar experience in either place, but at LSU you'll come out with half the debt.
👍 Thanks. This does put stuff in perspective, and it's nice to hear stuff from an actual med student at another school.
Btw, my main issue with LSU is that it's in New Orleans and I want to leave Louisiana. That's just about it. The bureaucratic hospital stuff and students seeming kind of unhappy are secondary - that can happen anywhere.
