Hey there guys..so once I woke up today, I signed on the status page..and saw the accepted/alternate checklist but no deposit payment link (immunizations, white coat forms, cpr, etc...) AND THEN about a half hour later at 11:30 am I GOT THE CALL asking If I was still interested, I said YES and then she said the following "you will be receiving an alternate letter packet, ignore it, because you are now FORMALLY ACCEPTED."
OH MY GOD! I am going to Downstate..I was on the hold for spring list..so there is hope you guys! good luck.
 
my checklist got updated too, no deposit link, but no phone call lol. Looks like im Alt-listed now.😕

Guess ill hold off on changing my status in the list above until i get the letter saying im alt-listed.

I'm sure it'll be in the alternate list packet they're sending us.
 
My checklist was also updated but I don't have a payment link and didn't receive a phone call. Great news nevertheless.
 
When you guys look at your checklist...do you have an Accepted.Alternate List Applicant M.D. Checklist and then followed by a Student Health Accepted/Alternate List Applicant Checklist?

It's official, I'm alt-listed.



EDIT: I'm a total noob, it clearly says that there's a supplemental fin aid app that should be completed.

On the yellow fin aid packet, it says.to get the ball rolling on fin aid incase.you are accepted by adding downstate.to ur fafsa and that theres a supplemental app for institutiona aid. Near the bottom of the front page.
 
I re-read the alt list letter and it just says to file the fafsa to prepare yourself should you be accepted to DS. Then once you get accepted i suppose you do the institutional aid app.
