I have not received an interview invite either. This process is making me crazy, but let's try not to worry together 🙂

Procrastinating so hard on this one... the secondary just makes me cry with its "give me the same thing that's in your AMCAS primary only with STYLE also list every single other thing you've ever done"ness.

No website to check status. Interview came through email.

First of all, good luck to everyone applying this year! I'm a second year here at UM and absolutely love this school! Please feel free to send me any questions that you may have, and I'll try my best to help out.
The way I see this is that you should look at the secondary as an opportunity to tell the AdCom about all the things that make you an awesome candidate! Remember, when it really comes down to it, you are your only true advocate in this application process, so it is your job to sell yourself to the AdCom and make them see why you are a good fit for their school (of course, this applies to any school you apply to).
I think that any school, including Miami, would view this favorably!

Weirdly, I know him...very distantly. I was shadowing some doctors at Jackson Memorial, and because it was the start of the year, this also allowed me to interact with third year medical students as well. He was very helpful, and seemed enthusiastic about the surgery rotation. I think he is a fourth year now. I wonder what he eventually decided to pursue.

For those of you that got interview invites... did anyone confirm that you were complete? I e-mailed a while back to ask if I was complete, and I was told once I sent a photo I'd be complete... I did that and got a "thanks!" but never received an e-mail that says "your application is complete" -- what about others?
My thanks email was also the complete email.

Just got an invite today too. I selected my top 3 choices, hoping for 9/30 as I have 2 other east coast interviews within a week of each other so I'd like to avoid multiple trips out there. Has anyone gotten confirmations back yet after selecting the desired dates?

Hey!
I received an e-mail last week saying they'd scheduled my interview for X date, and that they'd send an official confirmation within the week. I wouldn't worry too much if you haven't received one yet though; I had a few extenuating circumstances involving trip scheduling.

Ya but I need to know whether my first choice for an interview date is approved or not so I can book my flight to Miami. I'm planning on knocking out 3 east coast interviews in 7 days....so I need them to confirm me ASAP!

yes - im an oos the md interview is on friday and the mph interview is on tuesday at the regional campus in palm beach. the interviews are usually scheduled on two consecutive days, but i asked specifically for the dates I got. they did give me a list of the MPH interview days, however, here they are:
MPH INTERVIEW DATES:
September: 20 and 27
October: 4 and 25
November: 15, 22, 29

Okay, good. I scheduled my interview yesterday and I was wondering when they would send the confirmation email.
Btw, for those who were asking, I am a MD/MPH applicant and I was complete on 7/22. OOS.
To valleityx: I got my confirmation within a couple hours but this was back in July. Perhaps, they weren't so swamped with emails then.

I am a little late on the ball, but
.Interview Invite for MD/MPH program!!!! Complete 8/9. Don't know when I'm going to go yet, but I'll think about it this weekend. Pumped to get to go back to Florida (specifically Miami) twice!
Had my interview today! It was fantastic! It really depends on who interviews you. The questions were not tricky or difficult. Best of luck to you all!
How was the rest of the day and all outside of the interview? I'm still stunned that I got an invite to the MD/MPH program earlier today; this program definitely feels like the perfect fit for what I want to do.
