But, I have a bad feeling we may have missed our best shot...
 
Accepted OOS. Email came at 11:30. I am breathless.

I sent one last week but I did not receive the "thanks for your LOI..." response.
 
I sent an interest letter yesterday, and did not receive a prompt response from Admissions as I have throughout the entire process.
 
Accepted OOS at 11:35!

I interviewed in late March and followed up with a phone call expressing interest a few weeks later.

Good luck everyone still waiting to hear back!
 
interviewed in feb.. wasn't reviewed in the march meeting. placed on the OOS WL after nearly 2 weeks after the april meeting.. that was when everything became really dead according to this thread..accepted today =)
 
For newly accepted students, congrats! Did your OAC status change after you got the email?

Sigh...I've sent sooooo, so many letters both this year and last that I'm letting the cards fall where they may this year. If it happens then 👍. If not, well que sera que sera...
 
Wow! Congrats you guys! So many acceptances! Well nothing's happened for me yet...obviously lol! Best of luck to the rest of us!

Hopefully the insanity will end soon....I can't not stand not knowing for sure where I'll be moving to in the next couple of months...but I really wanna get into UVM.....! Maybe another love letter is due....lolol
 
Just got into my state school so I will be withdrawing my acceptance to UVM 👍 LOVED the school though. Good luck guys! I hope my spot goes to one of you! :luck:

Hey guys (those of you who got accepted today) can you let us know how long you have to decide and also how soon you are able to view any financial aid info? I'm guessing that info isn't going to be available until you accept but maybe it will be available much faster now that interview season is over. Thanks 🙂
 
Came back from work to an offer of acceptance!!!!! So stoked, I can't believe it!!!

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted today and good luck to those still waiting!

They gave us two weeks (from both OAC and the acceptance email). So far no mention of financial aid info. I'm assuming I'll see it once I turn in a deposit?

Thanks for letting us know 🙂 I hope you see it pretty soon. I'm guessing they know people need to compare financial aid packages to decide. Let us know as soon as you see something and congrats once again!

It is so so so hard to stay positive when people who have been WLed much later in the cycle received acceptances while I have been waiting since Oct. I guess this is it for me. Congratulations to everyone accepted! 👍

For all those still WLed, there is still significant movement on the WL throughout the summer. MANY students still hold multiple acceptance and forego the stupid $100 it takes to hold your spot. If it doesn't work out for you this cycle, PM me. I have some advice on things you should do in the next cycle that will increase your chances of being admitted. Wait till the end of summer though 🙂 GOOD LUCK!

Awww thank you Poww 🙂 I'm totally in for the dance party! This is the best thread ever btw. It's so hilarious. Ditto to what Poww said. You guys have been really great! Thanks for all the encouragement. If it weren't for this thread I would have probably stopped at my first LOI :laugh: But now I'm on a roll! Get ready UVM! Hey Aama628 don't be discouraged okay? I haven't gotten in either but I'm not giving up and you shouldn't either! (Okay fine I was just wallowing in self pity before I read Poww's comment but forget I said that!) The fact is that anything can happen and it ain't over till the first day of school right? I'm rooting for you 🙂 Don't start thinking about not getting in until you absolutely have to....like whenever you have to start moving and even then you still have time! Plus I also believe in miracles so I'm not kidding when I say I REALLY believe anything can happen 🙂
 
This is my first post on here and i'm waitlisted as well. I don't believe that this is close to the end in regard to waitlist acceptances. According to this thread, which i'm positive 80% of enrolled students look at, only about 7 OOS students were accepted today and only 2 instate people stated they were accepted yesterday. I'm positive there will be more movement soon. There is no way that only 10 people had dropped out prior to May 15. Good luck 😉

You hold on there pal!!!!!! Look at how many people from SDN got some news today. I'm sure now that the WL started to move there will be plenty more acceptances sent out over the next few weeks.:xf::xf::xf::xf::xf::xf::xf: Many people are still withdrawing😉

Thanks very much for the encouragement, Poww. I can't express enough how much I hope to become a part of the UVM class of 2016. I've been on the waitlist since late November and it has been absolutely excruciating. I have been a senior scientist at well known institution in Boston for...well...several years, and I'm afraid that my immersion in academic research has hurt my opportunities for acceptance into clinical education.

I am leaving in just a few hours for my first vacation since 2008 (haven't worked less than 60+ hours/wk since I can remember) so I may be away from email until the middle of next week...which might not be a bad thing.

Wishing the best for everyone still in the position that I am in. I hope we all find ourselves in the fortune of good news very, very soon. 🙂
