My status still says this as well...been complete since early August though haha.
 
I received an interview invite about 2 weeks ago and my application (secondary) was complete in mid-Octboer.

I called to schedule my interview and I was informed they were setting up interviews for mid-February at that point. So don't lose hope, there still should be interview slots available (unless they filled all of them up now)
 
I checked my status because of everything happening today on this thread and discovered I have an interview invite! The last time I checked it was last week, so it changed some time between then and now. I haven't received an email yet, and I plan to call tomorrow to schedule it. I'll let you all know what dates they are offering after I find out. Oh, and I was complete on 9/2 and sent a letter of interest last week.
 
Sorry if this has already been asked, but does anyone know how many students Wake accepts? I know that the class size is 120, but I am wondering how many the school ultimately extends offers to.

Yeah mine still says this too and I have been complete since July. I hope this is a good thing rather than just stringing me along a bit longer.
 
I'm interviewing here next Monday and was planning to drive to Winston-Salem from Durham that morning. I was hoping a kind soul would be willing to let me spend the night at their place on Sunday evening so I won't have to worry about being late >_> (preferably a current student so I could talk to you about the school =D). Thanks in advance!
 
Yeah mine still says "Application Complete" too. Hasn't changed since 10/20.

Ah. I'm still at:
"Your application is complete. Interviews are by invitation from September to March. If you are invited, you will receive a e-mail or phone call to schedule an interview."
But if all the interview spots have been filled, I'll probably be receiving that email soon, too. Thanks for the heads up and good luck with the rest of your applications!

My status still says "application complete". I sent a letter of interest yesterday and received an email this morning saying it had been added to my file. No mention of interview spots being filled, but who knows.

does anyone know when we can look for the waitlist to start moving? I realize the majority of movement occurs after that date in May, but could we expect anything sooner?
 
Also rejected today. I'm pretty sure everyone got the (fabricated) quote, "Your application was in the interview category" to perhaps soften the blow...
 
Didn't get an email, but checked my status after all the movement, and saw that I would not be getting an interview. Oh well, on to the next one.

I'm hoping no news is good news in this case. My status is still complete, the same one it has been for months. Hopefully I get an interview!
 
Sorry to be bringing this up while everyone is talking about rejections, but did anyone get a waitlist notice via mail, but not email?
 
Got waitlist information by both email and mail. Also, called last week and they said waitlist moves throughout the season, not just after May 15th. Not sure if this was posturing, so if any current students who were accepted off the waitlist before May 15, or current applicants who have been accepted through this process, would like to comment?

Just scheduled my interview. The dates available were February 22nd or some time between March 5th and March 16th. I'm not sure why they're saying that all the interview slots are filled.
 
sigh couldn't escape the rejection email forever...
 
Rejected today as well. Oh well; already accepted somewhere I'd rather go. They said something about being in an "interview category."
 
I interviewed toward the beginning of the month and I remembered they said the "action date" for our interview batch will be tomorrow, the 25th. They said they usually inform about acceptance/waitlist/rejection within around a week. Is this typically true? Thanks!
 
r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-rejected. not super surprised at this point in the game, but too bad. i didn't write them a loooove letter so maybe they figured i wasn't obsessed enough with them :|

yeh my action date was on a wednesday as well and i received the decision friday
 
Logged in to check my status today and it said that I could call and schedule an interview at my convenience! I never got an email or anything so if you havent heard anything yet then I would suggest checking your status, just in case. They are scheduling them for early March

Same here. It looks like there are three different status updates up now: interview slots full, complete, interview invite.

Yes that is where I checked, I just sent them a letter of interest on Friday as well

I know that WF has different interview pools, maybe the people who still have the complete status (myself included,) are simply in one of the pools that they are still drawing Interview Invitations from?

Let's hope so, I'm still "complete" too!
 
Rejected pre-interview...mildly surprised (interviewing at more competitive schools and quickly accepted @ home state school), although MCAT arrived late (Sept. test date)...OOS 33Q/3.8+ (well above Summa threshold @ very tough grading school) and superior EC's at Top 10 public university in same region.

Perhaps shoulda' sucked up more! They say above that Wake likes conspicuous love/sloppy wet kisses! 🙂

Summa with 3.8+? Lucky! At my school it was 3.9. Congrats on the other acceptances.

Summa at my college was 3.95. Magna is 3.85. It's not an easy school either. That seems unreasonably high to me...but maybe that's cause I had 3.83 (so close!).
 
Does Wake post admissions decisions on the webpage where you check the status of your application? Or do you just wait until they email you? My action data was yesterday so I just want to know if I should keep refreshing that page every hour.

I was a compulsive checker. Website updated maybe 15min before I received the email.

Don't be too compulsive if your action date was only yesterday; it seems like most don't receive the decision until 5-7 days thereafter.
