Sadly, there is only despair in the pit of despair

I'm here until they kill me

I'm honestly looking forward to having oral surgery on Thursday. A few hours of sedation should be a nice distraction, no?

Anybody at Anschultz that can comment on whether or not the school's getting Friday off?

+1. Probably going to be waitlists and rejections T_T

I know this, but no matter how I hard I try I know I haven't really accepted it. That's why I need to just be rejected already, it's that sliver of hope that's killing me.

That makes two of us 🙂 Good luck nonetheless!

You never know. 2 years ago (I believe) they sent out acceptances, rejections and waitlists on the same day. It was a roller coaster day at the office with all the people who had applied and interviewed.

Good call, poleOFbean. I dug up the 2010-2011 application thread and you are correct: acceptances, waitlists, and rejections were sent out on 3/9 and 3/10. So it's not unprecedented.

Best of luck to everyone!

A friend of mine was rejected today. I guess it's beginning.

yeah officially rejected. OOS. but i know someone who called admissions and they said theyd be sending out notifications tomorrow including more acceptances.

So I've got a buddy who's a CU alumn and a resident there, and he said every year the top 3rd of the waitlist gets accepted eventually. Anybody have thoughts on the claim?

This was possibly true when your friend was a student. However, a few years ago CU switched to an unranked waitlist. There's no way of knowing where you stand, since you aren't given a numbered position.

Ahhh. Thanks for the help! (And sorry if that's been covered already.) I guess I'm in the "hope to hear something tomorrow" boat.

Not sure, but I'd guess I'm ahead of you alphabetically. :roll eyes:

And that they somehow missed how fabulous you and I both are. 🙁

Let's make-out if we both get in. That offer actually extends to the whole board

WL. Anyone know how much movement there is usually?

Haven't heard anything here yet... Guess I should be prepared for a rejection later today or tomorrow then? T_T

Wait listed also. Interviewed 1/11. IS, re-applicant, 3.3, 37 MCAT.

The email said historically 50-60 people are accepted off this list, any ideas as to how many wait list spots are given? Also, is most of this movement right after the May 15 deadline or throughout the summer? The waiting is going to kill me.

Browsed last years thread and it seems it's around 200-250. I'm glad to not be rejected, but I'm just ready for this process to be over. I'm accepted other places but CU is by far my top choice and now I can't move past it. The waiting continues...

Let me know when you arrive at a decision. I'll fly off your lead.

I was happy, and still am, when I saw it wasn't a rejection. But now I have an indefinitely longer amount of time to wait for something that will likely not come. So I'm a little exasperated. I'm being ungrateful though and I know it, I'm damn lucky to make it this far.

I'm still waiting. Interviewed in January. 😱 I can't wait for this decision come already so I can decide what track I want to go down.

Still waiting as well, having interviewed in early October. And hoping we'll get news before 5pm MST.
