Nothing here yet either. Interviewed 10/11 and committee didn't make it to our day on the last meeting. Hopefully we all hear something soon!!!

Nothing either. Interviewed 10/16 - know for sure someone interviewing that day also was accepted last time the committee met.

I did see some weeks that emails came out around 1, so I guess we should all get emails soon.

After 2 rounds of the no decision email: Accepted!!!

I am not surprised, no decision. I just interviewed last week so it makes sense that they didn't get to it yet.

still on hold ughhhh!!! This is so stressfull. Anyone else on that boat?

"no decision was made" for me. can someone clarify the difference between this and "hold" ? thanks!

Interviewed 10/11 and still no decision!!! Are they just super behind or what it going on? (Since I know I'm not being placed on hold)

I sent in my secondary on August 6 and I still haven't heard anything back. Is this a bad sign?

At my interview they told use they do not review files in the order of date interviewed.

They just didn't get to you yet, I'm guessing.

Ya, I think you're right- I think most people who were accepted today were interviewed a while back. We just have to remember that "no decision" is not a negative thing...we just gotta keep hanging in there 🙂

Totally agree! My goal for today was to not have bad news, so I'm feeling pretty good right now... minus the 'having to wait some more' part.

Thanks everyone! I interviewed back at the end of September so it was good to finally have a decision.

That's good to know - I was worried since someone who interviewed the same day as me was accepted. I wonder how they decided which ones to review .....

Congrats everyone who got good news! I was accepted today too!

To those who have interviewed: did anyone else feel rather unintelligent sitting in on the medical school class? I found it rather interesting, but understood almost none of it. 😳

My group didn't sit in on a class either.

It was an anatomy lecture, I think. Please keep in mind that my comment is coming from the perspective of someone who has not taken an anatomy class before, but most of the medical students in the class seemed to be following it just fine. I just felt a bit intimidated by it.

I am currently taking a nursing anatomy course and was able to follow the lecture...I of course knew very little of that information but found the lecturer to be very funny.

Last week, we had the chance to sit in the anatomy class-I thought it was fun. Definitely intimidating-they had us go to the front of the class to find seats while the prof was lecturing.

Does anyone know if they screen Trover secondaries for the Trover interview? Thanks
edit: please ignore question 🙂

Hey guys. I submitted my secondary one month ago. I still have not received an interview invite. Any advice on how to get an interview invite if you are out of state and have no specific ties to louisville? Can I send a letter of intent/update via email? Has that worked for any of you???

Thanks

Is the admissions committee meeting today and will we find out an application status tomorrow?

They cancelled the November meeting. The next meeting is December 11.

Hey thanks for the info, I won't be anxiously checking my email all next Wedneday if they aren't meeting.

Edit: Just got that email. Thanks for posting about it, though.

Yep, no problem, one of my friends had not received it yet so I figured people would like to know.

So, if they don't review applications in a certain order at the adcom meetings after we've interviewed how in the world is that a true "rolling admissions"?

My guess was that since our interviewers present us it's kinda based on their availability. Maybe somebody's doctor is on vaca or on call and can't make a particular meeting. I'm sure they try to plan around it but you never know what comes up. That was how I pictured it anyway.

I always kind of assumed they made the easy decisions faster and that more difficult decisions took longer. That was just my assumption however.

I think you're right. I remember Mrs./Dr. Osbourne saying that the ones that were awesome were "slated" in one pile, but the rest that might just fall short on the GPA/MCAT scale would have to be discussed, so for those applicants it may take longer. I have a feeling I'm in that pile. 🙁
