Samsies. Maybe the list hasn't been updated since our interview?
I think you are correct because a friend of mine who interviewed around the 14th Nov. also did not receive the email last week.

Any one else nervous about the committee meeting next week? It's also occurring during my finals week so we'll see how this turns out...

Yeah, I really need good news. I'll be done with three of my four exams before I hear anything.
Does UoL offer scholarhips? If so, do you apply?
I'm fairly sure you don't have to apply for them, but they do have them.Does UoL offer scholarhips? If so, do you apply?
Based on past threads, late March is when they let you know about any scholarships. Thanks,
When do they tell you? It would be nice to know before making final decision? Should I as
Hoping for a good outcome from today's committee meeting! 🙂

We can only hope! I wish the committee wouldn't have skipped the last one though. They have to be so far behind now...

Got my MD/PhD interview around noon and my MD interview about an hour later for consecutive days in January... I was complete about 5 days ago, I guess the MD/PhDers work quick!
Got email at 12:45, accepted. Interview was on 11/15.
Congrats to all that get an email today and good luck to others
I'm assuming then that basically if you get an email early you actually got accepted, where as if you get a later email it means they didnt get to you? I still haven't gotten one today, but the past 3 meetings I have gotten emails rather late and told I hadn't been reviewed...
No decision, once again....
I really wish they hadn't cancelled the last meeting. I feel like that is why they did not get to some of us.
When did you interview? I can't believe I've been waiting for more than 2 months now and still no decision...
About the first week of November. So I haven't been waiting quite as long as you.
I guess it's better than being declined though.

Accepted! 🙂 Good luck to everyone! Is anyone else doing the Trover program?
I was accepted to it, and I'm leaning towards it! What are your thoughts? I loved the people and the options you have with it (3 year/ stay main campus/ reglar tover) and the scholarships have been awesome in previous years (15-20K a year for two years) plus stipend, moving expenses paid for, cheap housing. I'm surprised they don't advertise these points better.
Yes those scholarships are amazing. I think there is a significant advantage to doing the program. For example, on Louisville campus during 3rd and 4th year you have to compete with students and residents to do procedures. At trover, you do not compete with fellow students and there is only residents in the primary care rotation. You also see about 7-12 times as many patients (correct me if I'm wrong...it was in the Trover book they give you at the interview). Some of the students I met at the interview, the ones on a surgery rotation from the Louisville campus, said they wished that they had done the Trover program because of the one-on-one attention. Also, step 2 scores from Trover are better than Louisville campus. I did hear there were some drawbacks to the program...such as the psychiatry and pediatric rotation not being as well as it is in Louisville. I think you can do some rotation in Louisville and they will pay your moving expenses. Also, slacking is not possible because they will easily notice you slacking since you are working one on one with physicians. For me, this program is awesome. Also, I want to practice in a rural area. I am also somewhat interested in the Rural Medicine Accelerated Track that allows you to complete med school in 3 years and saves you 100K...the drawback is you have to do Family Medicine so I'm not sure if I'm ready to commit to that specialty.
Accepted! 🙂 Good luck to everyone! Is anyone else doing the Trover program?
Still on hold -.- I feel like I'm the only one that has posted being on hold in this thread. Is anyone else on the same boat? Also, have they even started rejecting ppl or compiling a wait list ? I highly doubt they have looked over their hold applications of there are a bunch of applications they haven't looked at for months now. I wish they wouldn't cancel meeting so much or at least move them so they still have them twice a week. The stress of waiting is driving me nutsssss!!!!!
I'm on hold too... Yeah, been on hold since Oct 16th... It's been a long wait.
They start compiling a wait list in March, and I'm actually not sure if they've started rejecting people yet. I am curious about that too. Does anyone have an answer?
You're IS hold right? I'm OOS hold. I don't know if there is a difference in the way that they handle the two piles.
I really wish they'd let us know already...
Yea I'm in state hold and I really wish they would let us know something too. At least a date or something of when they are planning on going over the holds again. And yea, I still don't know whether they are even rejecting yet....haven't heard anyone getting rejected so...... 😕
