They have them at ratcliffe's bookstore near campus, I tried them on there to get my size. Just look for the
Landau mens style 3224 or 3230 women's.

We tried them on during our second visit day, but it's been a while.

You will. The coats will be available to try on during breakfast and lunch, IIRC. You'll get an order form then and they ask you to fill it out before you leave for the day.

Has anyone called and seen how many have moved off the waitlist recently? I called about 3 weeks ago and it was still 12.
 
I am on the waitlist, too. Hopefully since it's finally May we will start to see more people getting moved off. Any news on how many are left/been accepted, yet?

If you call admissions, they'll tell you how many have been accepted from the waitlist.
 
As of 9:15 this morning (CST), there had been 12 people moved off the wait list and 20 people confirmed as holding multiple acceptances, meaning that 20 people could be moved off the wait list and accepted. Possibly even more if other people who have already accepted back out for whatever reason. So there's definitely hope for the next 20 people!

Hopefully there's a lot of people with acceptances here that get in off the waitlist elsewhere!
 
It sure is hard to focus on studying for a potential MCAT retake knowing that it's possible to get off the waitlist in less than a week.
 
Hey guys I decided to withdraw my offer at OU med, I hope one of you hears some good news soon.

Nope. I was hoping that since they've changed acceptance notifications to email one of us would hear today.

I emailed dotty and she had an auto-response saying she was out of the office till the 22nd. So maybe not till then?
 
Well this is a TERRIBLE time for her to not be in the office. I hope someone else is covering this stuff for her...

Agreed. I need to give them my new address so I plan to call tomorrow morning. I'll see if I can't get an update then.
 
Thank you!! I am trying to make some major life decisions and it's hard with no information besides "you're on the wait list"!

I like that thought! Maybe positive thinking will keep us from going crazy? And every time someone emails me my heart skips a beat.
 
Still no answer. Hopefully that's not a sign that we have to hold out until the 22nd.

I just sent mine in to be sure. Dotty said everyone who applied for finical aid whether they were on the waitlist or not was offered the financial aid just in case. She sounded like she had gotten a lot of calls
about it when I called last month. My mom opened the letter and thought it meant I had been accepted. It was a bad day.
 
Well, either they haven't started emailing yet, or none of us were at the top of the list.

I'm hoping for the first one 😉
 
I don't think they've sent anything out; I electronically submitted a transcript with document tracking on the 14th and it hasn't been opened yet so I'm pretty sure no work is being done in the admissions office until tomorrow at the earliest
 
Yeah. I've been trying to call, but no one has answered. I decided to hold out until tomorrow.

Congrats! Yes there is a Facebook group, it's the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine Class of 2017.

And they notified me by email.
 
Congrats guys!

I called admissions and they said they've sent out all acceptances today. They said 21 have been taken off the wait list.
