I interviewed here on 11/2, about two weeks ago. Should I even hope to pre-match any time soon?
Prematched this morning!
Is it too late to expect an interview at this point?

Has anyone made a fb group yet??
Accepted on Nov. 15th. 3.5/35. I loved this school and will likely be matriculating here!
I interviewed here yesterday and loved the school. Does anyone know if I'm eligible for prematch?!
Still waiting for an interview, but this is what the rolling feed on their web page says:
UTHAdmissions Congrats to the early acceptances! We don't send many & prefer to get most of our class from the match so everyone else prepare for Feb. 1!
This is what Im waiting for. I absolutely loved this school.
Did your acceptance email specifically say that you were offered a scholarship?Accepted 8:00am this morning plus scholarship offer!!! interviewing at SW december, but I am pretty sure I will go here!!!! amazing, never been so happy in my life. this is my second year applying and I prematched to ALL the schools I interviewed at this morning... guess it was worth the wait! 😀😀😀😀🙂😀😍😀

The pre-match email says we should notify them by December 6th. I'm still debating between Houston and Southwestern, so does anyone know how strict they are on this notification rule? I want to go back to UTSW to take a closer look, but I don't know if I can before the 6th. What happens if we don't respond by then?
I haven't received an interview invite from UTH either, and i really want to check out the school! Does anyone know if the admissions committee is receptive to letters of interest? I'm hesitant to send one because their initial email to all applicants said they don't want any updates on a person pre-interview, but I'm getting ancy because interview season is almost over.Still waiting for an interview, but this is what the rolling feed on their web page says:

I also pre-matched into two schools already and dont want to look like an ass.
If you have already pre-matched, I would look at it this way, what do you have to lose? I talked to UT-H a few times before and Ms. Magel specifically said receiving one e-mail or letter is fine (she is quite annoyed with multiple e-mails or letters). Others may want to send theirs after their interview to stress their intent on wanting to come to this school specifically.
+1Yall know when UTH stops sending out invitations?

Based off the assumption that they will be interviewing into the first week of January, I'd say they'll be sending out their last batch of invites by the second full week of December. But they might call up a few people sporadically afterwards to fill up last minute open spots.
Anyone got anything in the mail yet that was accepted?
Not yet! Only from UTMB so far. And for the record, I don't live too far from UT-H.
Awesome, thanks! So I should accept all of the offers via email, and then rank my schools on TMDSAS? And I will have the ability to change this ranking until January? How do people know these things >.< Also, you're positive accepting multiple offers is legal, right? I don't want the schools to say they are retracting their offers because I didn't follow the rules or something... Thanks again!!I have read that if you don't respond within a reasonable time frame you would forfeit the offer. Thus (and based on info I gathered talking to other applicants), you should accept ALL offers for now for at least 2 reasons: 1) You would not forfeit the offers. You are entitled to them, as you certainly have worked hard to have the luxury of the choice. You shouldn't feel rushed as this is a critical decision for you. 2) It will give you time to find out about any scholarships, as they may be given a bit later.
You can hold multiple acceptances for a while, not sure what the dates are. As soon as the match starts, if you haven't resolved them, TMDSAS will automatically match you to your higher ranked school. So make sure that the rank reflects your preferences before Jan 21st 2013 after which you cannot modify them.
I am all for withdrawing as soon as possible so that other applicants can have a shot, and I myself will do so, as soon as I get official letters. So as soon as your 100% sure of your decision, it is good practice (and out of respect fo all applicants) to act promptly, freeing acceptances that you won't use. However, make sure the decision is right for you, so take the time you need to make the correct choice.
Best of luck.

For my part, I have accepted all offers thus far. But I will be dropping them as soon as I have official letters in hand and that I have secured a position in the school I want.
While it is perfectly acceptable to cumulate several positions until match, I still stress that it would be respectful to withdraw as soon as you possibly can. If you need more time, then so be it. But if it is just for convenience, or to enjoy having multiple seats, I think it would be a bit selfish...
In any event, enjoy your success, and go accept these offers!

Good point.... Thanks, everyone, for the well-informed advice 🙂+1
Just wanted to add one thing: if scholarships are an important part of your final acceptance consideration, some schools may give out early aid prior to match date. Just something to think about before giving up an acceptance if a considerable scholarship may change your mind.
if it makes anyone feel better i got accepted with somewhat subpar stats:
29O, 3.52 overall GPA
there's hope lol
31M, 3.7 but no word from UT-H and most of TX schools. Suspecting something wrong with my App.
I had 0 interviews last year, and was told by admissions later that they weeded me out before anyone even read my app because I had only applied to 3 schools in my area (my son goes to school here and my husband works here so I thought it would be a nobrainer). They told me that a thousand people have the same stats and issues and it looks arrogant to think I am better than the others and can choose my own school before I even get an interview invite or acceptance offer. I took the advice and applied to EVERY school in Texas plus out of state and this year worked out great.... There are many factors that we are unaware of so it helps to talk to admissions many times before to clear up ridiculous things that you would not even think about
