I had the 6-8 weeks status for around 10 weeks as well, but it recently changed to "preliminary review" and then "small pooled". I really think they're just a little slow this year. At least that's what they said in the admissions office when I called to check up on my app around the 10 week mark.
The ADCOM should be meeting any day now to review our files and send out their next batch of acceptances.![]()
How do you know this? Are they meeting this week?
were you in my group!?! 11/08
Ahh same. I hope we hear soon! Interviewed mid-SeptMy status now says:

Interviewed at same time but I have no status change...????
For those of you who had a status change... when did you interview?Got the status change as well. And now we wait... even more.
I also have an interview coming up next week. Is there just one faculty interview? Student interview too?
I have an interview coming up and was wondering about the clinical experience at UVM. It seems like pre-clinical curriculum--the VIC--is pretty well-loved, as is the faculty. But how have students found the diversity (or lack thereof...?) of clinical experiences at UVM? I know you can also do away rotations at a site in CT, but does that really make up for the lack of diversity in Burlington?
I may be way off base, but from what I know of VT it isn't the most diverse city in the northeast. Was this talked about much during the interview day?
From what I understood during my interview, off-site rotations are essentially mandatory (unless you have a family in Vermont), with sites in Maine, Florida, and Connecticut. They stressed that these off-site rotations for many core clerkships give you a significant diversity in patient population and allows you to work everything from academic tertiary care centers to rural medical centers. You spend a significant amount of time off-site, so yes, I think it definitely helps you see a lot more than you would just clerking in Vermont.
Were you accepted off of waitlist today? Could you share stats?Accepted! OOS, interviewed 9/20, waitlisted shortly thereafter. Whoo! Awesome program with a wonderful faculty, I simply can't wait to be there!
OOS waitlist today, interviewed early Oct.
Can anyone who has recieved an update today tell me how they received this info (email, updated status, phone call...?) Thanks! 🙄
