Mine changed to you are not rejected just yet, please wait...
No, what did it change to?
I was just placed on post-interview hold.
So have they already rejected people post-interview that they're planning to reject (i.e. soon after the interview took place), or will they be giving out additional rejections next week? Anybody know?
They said practically nobody gets rejected after the post-interview hold status. You'll either get accepted or wait listed. I'm not sure when they start making rejections.

I actually got rejected post interview lol, on the monday after my interview.
With that being said, I didn't like that there was only 1 interviewer that I felt was out to get me. I felt like we didn't click well at all.
Also I didn't like that she asked if I was accepted to a medical school, which I felt put me in an awkward situation kinda.
Edit: Since I said I was accepted to another school and named it, was this a bad idea? Did I give her the impression that I wasent interested in the school maybe?
I was also asked where interviewed/accepted/waitlist/etc. I was on only 1 waitlist at the time, and not sure how they use the information. I think the most important thing is if they ask, to give them honest answers that are complete, so that's what I didMy interviewer asked me where else I had interviewed, where I was waitlisted, and where I had been accepted. I felt this was kind of shady, too. I was put on hold post-interview and heard nothing during the one decision day that has passed and I'm curious as to whether my answers (I had several acceptances at the time) to his questions had a big effect. Did anyone else have that experience and end up with an acceptance?

I got asked it too. However, I take this question as them asking "Why would you attend this school." So, I answered it truthfully saying I had an acceptance but then followed it up with 5 reasons why I would attend VCU over that other school and that I was very humbled to be accepted so soon (I interviewed in November).

Yeah, obviously I realize they were trying to gauge my interest in the school. I felt as though I responded well. Just wondering if people thought it had a significant impact on acceptance...
Wait list too. Interviewed in late November.
Waitlist and interviewed in September. At least we know something now!
Placed on the alternate list...did everyone also get -you're a strong candidate but there's just too many applicants- part?
Wait, why is everyone saying they've been waitlisted? For me it said I have to fill out the alternate list form if I want to be considered for the wait list...
I believe we all get the same message (at list mine is like yours). [it is relatively strong applicant] I filled out the form, it is reasonable that they basically want to know if you are really likely to go there or not.Placed on the alternate list...did everyone also get -you're a strong candidate but there's just too many applicants- part?

alternative list or waitlist. not sure if there is a difference.
anybody accepted?
Got the same thing. I believe that if you were on hold and DID NOT hear something today, you are probably going to hear on the 19th aka get an acceptance.

lol VCU trolling. Didn't they say 19th, and then those waitlisted would hear on 21st?
Is there anyone out there whose status did NOT change tonight?
clinging onto that slight hope that there was a glitch and everyone with a hold got waitlisted......
Same - alternate/waitlist and 'relatively strong'... looks like a lot of us!
LMAO. you actually made me laugh out loud.Mine... But it's because I was already accepted.

"The VCU School of Medicine will be making it's fourth set of offers on March 19th. Today and Monday the office is being moved to our new location at the McGlothin Medical Education Center. Hopefully phones will be in operation sometime on Monday."
This means that who hasn't heard tonight will be accepted on March 19th, I think !
Is there anyone who has not still get any status update? Please !!
They were suppose to form the waitlist on March 21st so I don't know what has changed since their last update (i.e last week)
