Does anyone know of anybody that has been accepted recently? I'm curious as to whether there will be another string of acceptances or if the next email update is going be the alternate list/ rejections.
To my understanding, when final decisions are made, there will be some acceptances to fill the seats left, waitlist, and rejections given.Does anyone know of anybody that has been accepted recently? I'm curious as to whether there will be another string of acceptances or if the next email update is going be the alternate list/ rejections.
Mine, too!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! See you in July!!! 😀check your status!!!! Mine just changed to accepted!!!!!!!!
We interviewed the same day! lolAccepted! Interviewed on March 13th! 🙂 Found out via status change.
Email shortly after checking the status. For any of those with status changes today, have any of you received emails?
You never know. This whole process is hard to predict. My guess, at this point, is that we will get wait list next Thursday, and nothing more until then.
That would be great. What makes you think this?I believe we will hear something tomorrow around 5.
I think they meet on Thursdays. So no more new till next week. Just my guess.Honestly, just being hopeful that they don't keep us in the dark much longer
I just checked it and it still says by April 15 on the final committee decisions stage?Well, I still have hope for hearing more information tomorrow. However, it appears that they removed the 4/15 deadline for final notification from their website and have replaced it with an apology about them being a "month or more behind" in the admission process, under the current applicant page on their website. Also I have one question. Where any reapplicants accepted today?
Well let's just hope they actually stick to that!I stand corrected, the 4/15 is on the "committee decisions" page under final committee decisions. Great observation Lionking2014!
I don't think I've ever wanted a weekend to be over so quicklyLong weekend
Thanks for your input. I definitely see you are saying but I suppose I should have phrased my question better. As a college student, people always tell me that there is no such thing as a typical day, but as a person of routine, I have developed different routines for the different "typical" days that I have. Along those same lines I was wondering what your day consisted of on a) days with just 8-12 lectures, b) days with 8-12 lectures + afternoon sessions, c) lab days, etc. and of course d) weekends.
Ex:
630-730am: wake up/get ready/breakfast
730-800am: commute
800-1200pm: lecture
12-1: gym
1-2: lunch
2-6pm: study
etc. until 11pm: sleep.
Hi - I'm another 1st year with mclysek. I think you'll likely be able to tailor your schedule to whatever works for you (within reason). Next year you won't have required attendance for lecture which will likely add significant flexibility. I typically stay at school from 8-6 every day no matter what we have going on and I study when we're not in class or lab. I'd guess on typical modules you have extra stuff (histo, micro, gross, small groups, simulation etc) maybe 2-3 times per week.
With that being said I think you'll be pretty able to strike up a schedule that works for you that is pretty consistent across most days.
The Fundamentals modules (1st semester) are a little heavier with extra-lecture stuff, if I remember correctly. It may be a little more difficult during those modules.
One last thing quickly - it is a pretty remarkable amount of info you need to learn for each exam / module. It takes a while to get used to it but I think it does get easier.
Good luck to you all.
Idk. I mean, I know it has to happen eventually, but I feel like it's never going to...Tomorrow?
I feel the same way. This wait is the worst.Idk. I mean, I know it has to happen eventually, but I feel like it's never going to...
Well typically they also send out another handful of rejections and acceptances with the wait list but I'm not sure if that's still the case this late.So are we waiting for the alt list at this point gang ???
