Does anyone have an idea when they'll get back? Interviewed at the end of February.... still nothing.

I interviewed mid march and the admissions coordinator said it'll take 6-8 weeks..... 🙁

I recall being told what it was at some point on interview day...maybe it wasnt in the packet?
 
Also, if there are any females starting this fall who are looking for a roommate/apartment mate please PM me!
 
Does anyone know anything more about (if) April interviews (are) going out?

I just called Admissions and they are done interviewing. 👎
 
🙁 So they're not giving out any more interviews? So sad...what exactly did the admissions person say?

Nah I emailed the admissions office asking if any correspondence had been mailed to my home so that I'll know when to expect. I also told them I was already accepted elsewhere but still really interested here. She replied that my letter was mailed on march 26 and told me I was wait listed. 🙁

Fingers crossed that you get off the waitlist! I've heard there is usually movement as OOS applicants start making decisions and financial aid info is released. That was nice that they were at least willing to give you the news instead of making you wait for the letter.

I'm hoping I hear some news soon... I interviewed in early March.

Hopefully you'll hear soon too! I'm going to hope that there is enough movement and I get in.
 
I also received a waitlist (interviewed in mid-February). Unfortunate that it sounds like there is little movement off of it.
 
So...this is a little random but...I'm kind of confused...how did all of posts turn to pirate talk? Even my post did and I didn't go back and edit it! Is this something for April's Day?

Did anyone who interviewed late ( February or March) receive acceptance??
 
Just got the acceptance letter in the mail!!!! Very excited!! Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting! There's hope!

Does anyone know when they will send out letters to wait listed applicants letting them know if they are in the top or bottom half of the list? Also, does anyone know if they do post-interview rejections or if they just wait list everyone?
 
so I've found a great 2bed/2bath apartment within walking distance from the school. if anyone is interested, send me a PM! and sorry to those rejected 🙁- good luck to those still waiting!
 
Interviewed March 5th and still waiting to hear... would like to know soon so I can start making some life decisions!

Does Maryland review our apps in the order we were interviewed, or how fast our interviewers submit their reports of us?

Could someone confirm which method UMD lets applicants know about acceptances and rejections (email, snail mail, phone call)? From what I've read, it seems like the method varies for everyone....

+1.... also does the snail mail get sent to permanent address or current address?
 
I got an acceptance by snail mail, no other form of communication. My current and permanent address are the same too so I'm not sure which one they use.
 
waitlist movement anyone? I sent in an update letter to their email. Now I guess it's just waiting until they send us more info in May x.x
