For those of you watching from home, she thinks I'm going to get rejected in 3 weeks and will get me the bottle of my voice if I get accepted.

Though she never said when that acceptance will come lol. So maybe I'll get a nice bottle in May.

I like to live dangerously... Although this hardly qualifies. I don't make bets I can't win. By Christmas or by May, that bottle is yours.

Has anyone ever gotten off a pre-interview hold and been accepted? Pretty bummed about this hold.

Are these holds status changes or did you receive emails? I submitted in August and haven't heard anything.
 
+5 got the hold as well. The email made it seem like there's little to no hope of getting an interview invite from here onwards lol.

Yep, they'll notify us sometime in mid-March to April if we'll get an interview or not which is super late. Also, they mentioned that they'll give interviews at this time if they somehow had a shortage of interviews. Might as well kiss this school goodbye.
 
Idk about you guys but screw that, at least it wasn't a flat out rejection. It is kind of stupid that they don't accept update letters though IMO.

Yeah, others have been rejected pre-interview though, and there is evidence that something good can come of it as @jonnythan has previously said he was on hold for 6 months before an ii. So, it is definitely better than a rejection! I'm trying to stay positive lol
 
When were all of you complete? Have they hit Oct complete dates yet?
 
Got the UC status this morning! Interviewed some time around mid November. I am thankful to not be rejected at this time. However, the long period of waiting associated with the UC status is going to drive me insane. Already mentally preparing for the worst!
 
WOW it sounds like a lot of holds are going out today. When were you guys marked complete? I had everything in sometime in September but I was never marked complete until I emailed them on October 20th... Still no news for me.

I was complete mid-Oct as well, so news could be good news for you!
 
Pre-interview hold as well. Only a few will be invited from hold. Most of them will be rejected.

On your interview day, did they also mention that most interviewees will be put under consideration (something they said not to be alarmed at), and that the bulk of acceptances will come out around end of January/early February? That little bit of info that AMC gave is the only thing keeping my hopes alive. I just can't imagine them filling their incoming class with mostly people accepted right off the bat from interviews.

they also told us very few get accepted outright, and most will come off UC. it helps me sleep at night lol, but I still can't seem to be overly hopeful.
