Not to offend any of the people that have been interviewed/accepted, but when a school has above 10,000 applicants like Drexel, I think getting selected for an interview is a combination of luck, being highly qualified, and the adcom liking something in particular about your application. There seem to be a lot of great applicants that have been put on hold.

This is very true. But I think it speaks a lot to the school that they take the time to consider things other than the stats. There are great applicants who don't have the best stats.

I would argue this to be true of all schools.
 
Anyone heard anything good about any of the year long rotation sites? I guess we have to pick now

What is that link about? I was accepted last Friday and my status reflects that they received my deposit. Do they e-mail you about using that link?

It's in the letter they send you confirming your deposit. It should work for you now though.

Oh ok thank you! I haven't received the letter yet, which is probably why news of that link was foreign to me lol. Do you mind me asking how long after you sent in your deposit that letter came for you? Just to get an estimate idea
 
Does anyone know if there is ranking in the drexel class?

That was fast! I interviewed the same day and am still stuck on review by committee.
 
Has Drexel sent interview invitations to anyone who was previously placed on hold? I have been on hold for several months now without any new updates. Also, does anyone know if they are receptive to update letters?

Does anyone know when/where to complete the PA child abuse form that it says to do in the acceptance packet? Thank you =)

I am pretty sure with Drexel when you get put on hold pre-interview your application is set aside for later review. Meaning they put it in a "we won't reject you just yet" pile and then they look at those applications again in like March/April. At that point any interview might be for just a wait list position but I am just speculating and there are always exceptions! I am on hold as well 🙁 , but seeing as this school gets a lot of qualified people applying I am not holding my breath.

Edit: Also as far as I know they do not accept updates pre-II. Which is so frustrating because I have things to tell them gahh :/

THIS. At least they were nicer than another school I won't name when I called and asked about sending updates.

Have you actually gone online to check your status? Drexel will put your application on hold and update your online status but not email you about it.

Yep! I check it all the time. I've been "is complete and will be reviewed" for about 4 months now.

Those are just my numbers - I have also won several regional/national awards and have about 2 years of full-time work experience. You can't just focus on the numbers. Medical schools look at you as a whole applicant.
 
Put on hold sometime yesterday/today I believe. Think I'm going to call this one a bust :/

Sorry to say it but the deadline for submitting secondaries was January 1st. I understand how frustrating it is, one of my secondaries got filtered as spam as well!

I'm not sure, but my guess would be that we have to just wait for the letter.

I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but when your file goes under review pre II, does your online status change to something other than "no decision is currently available?" Thanks in advance.

When are the last round of interviews for drexel? I wonder if the class has been close to filled at this point
 
Looks like March are the last inteviews. Is anyone here wait listed after an interview?
 
Hi all- I just canceled my interview for this Thursday, in case anyone wants an earlier interview! Drexel seems like a wonderful program but I'm trying to take what little control over this process any of us can and start wrapping it up 😉 good luck to all!
 
How long has it taken everyone to hear post interview (approximately)
