Well this is what my status says

Your file has been reviewed by a member of our Admissions Committee. While we have decided not to invite you for an interview at this time, we would like to re-evaluate your application again in the spring should interview spots remain. We have many completed applications to review and wish to hold on a final decision on your application until later in the cycle. Again, thank you for your interest in Drexel College of Medicine.

I got that from UCSD last year.
 
I submitted my secondary two days ago (received it a while ago, but it went to my spam smh) and today when I checked, I was complete, but didn't get an email. Someone else mentioned this too, seems like you just have to check your status to be sure.
 
Application portal says I have an II but I don't see anywhere to schedule it...are people receiving emails with the relevant info?

I was able to schedule it before receiving the email. Once you click on status, there should be a link to schedule it (I forget exactly what it says since I already scheduled mine)
 
Are you guys scheduling as early as possible? The dates are super soon!
 
Do you think if I schedule on like Wed or Thurs as opposed to Mon., that itll put me at any disadvanatge
 
I am beginning to feel as though I wasted 36 dollars applying here for this reason. Pretty much wasted the money I could have used to fill my car with gas most of the way.

EDIT: response to post several spots above mine. I cant quote it for some reason.
 
People stop posting II lol it's getting ridiculous I don't even have a secondary. I don't understand what is going on verified 6/9.
 
Lol not even secondary. You know that feeling as if everyone is getting better luck than you in life?

I don't even know if I will get a secondary for this school. I guess they are being selective. I suppose it's better than blindly submitting a secondary and getting rejected right away.

"We have many completed applications to review.." Reading those lines made me sad 🙁

Drexel does not screen so the only reason you have not received a secondary is just an artifact of their disorganized process. Interestingly, I think applicants encountered similar issues with receiving secondaries and using the online portal, but not to the extent of this year.

I received the secondary, but was put on hold after one day of review.... there are no "red flags" in my app so I think they just have an unusual application process. Good luck and godspeed with receiving your secondary!

Lol.. I added Drexel on August 13th, but I've been verified since June 12th. I'm frustrated, but I feel worse for everyone that verified around the same time as me that added Drexel when they first submitted and are still waiting:grumpy:

Haha that's horrible. I'm going to wrap up my other secondaries and then pre-write Drexel's. If I get it then cool, I'll have it ready. If not then whatever lol. They do get like 14k applicants.
 
Got my secondary finally. Verified on 6/3/14. Good luck to those out there. I hope you all get yours soon!
