Yeah. Agreed. Def had the same trend on my interview day.

Did you receive the email after scheduling the interview? or before? The only detailed email I receive was the interview invite itself. After I scheduled the interview, I only received a short confirmation email.

tofu, are you with the bunch that was complete on aug 20?
 
I find it odd that some people have yet to receive the secondary. I added Drexel to my primary application on 9/5 and received the secondary this past Monday....I wonder if secondary invites are random, if there is a state preference, or if it is based on some other factor.

Everyone is sent a secondary.

I am aware. I suppose I presented my argument the wrong way. I meant to include the time frame in which people are receiving the secondary. Some have waited months and still not received it, while others, including myself, received it within a few days.
 
Did you guys find yourselves checking "competency" boxes for nearly every course listed? The only maximum I see listed is "per course", but is there a max per competency too?

I got one around 4 days after I submitted my secondary
Edit: I don't have a II...
 
I checked my status and I've been put on hold... does anyone know if chances are pretty slim after being put on hold?

It was after. It was a confirmation email with a link for directions, accomodations, etc.
 
Are there any Drexel med students here who were accepted off of hold? Or is it basically just a nice/ misleading rejection?

No, you must be thinking of something else. I can't remember my exact complete date and don't have my spreadsheet on hand but I've been complete for at least a couple weeks.
 
Question: how did you guys find out that they lost your app? Do they email you?

I think some people got emails...but I didn't. When I went on to check my status a couple of weeks after I submitted it said it hadn't been submitted. So at that point I called, they confirmed that the server error had deleted my app and I redid the secondary.

Got put on hold until the spring here
No email, just checked my status. Ah well, wasn't one of my top choices anyway. Good luck to everyone else applying!
 
Also verified late August. haven't received a secondary. idk what goes on here...
 
not to beat a dead horse, but... has anyone completed ~8/20 had ANY status change besides "complete and will be reviewed"????
 
Sent in my secondary on 9/25 (after nearly 2 months of waiting for it) and after checking the portal nonstop Friday and today, my status has changed to complete and will be reviewed. Hoping for a quick turnaround!
 
Primary submitted: 7/28
Secondary received (and submitted): 9/15
Noticed "hold until spring": 9/29

Official wording of the hold status via site (I didn't get this as an email):
" Thank you for your application. Your file has been reviewed by a member of our Admissions Committee. While we have decided not to invite you for an interview at this time, we would like to re-evaluate your application again in the spring should interview spots remain. We have many completed applications to review and wish to hold on a final decision on your application until later in the cycle. Again, thank you for your interest in Drexel College of Medicine. "
 
Has anyone gotten a status change (hold or II) completed around 8/28?
