Sweet. It looked that way to me also but I wanted another opinion. My stats are solid, 31 and sGPA of 3.89, but nothing they haven't seen. I'm oos but love the state of Oregon and would jump at an opportunity to interview there. It'll be 14 weeks this Friday since I was complete on 9/12
Hey, thanks for the info and support! I'll let you know how it goes.Fingers crossed for you. It was 17 weeks from completion for my II, so definitely still hope for you!! Good luck!

Hello everyone ! I have an interview coming up and would appreciate if anyone can give an overview of the day 🙂 thank you!
My friend was put on preinterview hold in SeptemberHas anyone been put on hold pre-interview? and yes, when?
What did it say in the portal? All I've had since Sept is that my file is complete. My friend was put on preinterview hold in September
My friend told me that there was a message at the very bottom of the portal that explained his application was being held for evaluation for an interview invite until later in the cycle or something to that extent. I think the portal should be explicit, if you don't have this message then it probably means they haven't made it to your app yet. What did it say in the portal? At least when we interview later march isn't so far away!Interviewed this week. Loved it. Hoping it doesn't take until March to hear back...
I am happy you got it! Was roooooting for you! Good luck with the interview!I got an interview! Does anyone know what the stats are on instate post-interview acceptance rates? The MSAR says that 200 interviews for instate are conducted and 100 matriculate, but I imagine that not everyone who is accepted matriculates...

I did, I was placed on hold. For those who interviewed on 10/29, have y'all received a decision yet? We were told 4-6 weeks but it has been past that, getting nervous now...
I'm so happy for you! I know you'll do great.Got an OOS interview invite today, exactly 16 full weeks after I was marked complete. Hopefully, that gives some hope to the other OOSers. The options were in January with one date in February. Really excited!!!!

They interview like 200 and give out like 2x as many acceptances (totaled through the year, including those on hold for the entire season)
Yes I do. The academic one, since I am not an Oregon resident and do not have Oregon heritage.Do you fit a mission group?
Did they happen to mentioned how many acceptances have been given out?The stats discussed at the interview for this year:
6000+ applications
3000+ secondaries returned
525 interview invites to be extended
225-250 acceptance offers
Class of 144 (not sure if this includes MD/PhD students)
Good luck to all!
I did, I was placed on hold.
Good luck!Same, now we wait until April 30th!
Yeah the portal this year says April 30thunless deadlines are changed, i thought all decisions are made by May 15....but usually we hear something may 13?
Are any of you still waiting to hear for an interview? My application was complete 10.28.14
I'm in state so I should qualify for the Mission-Based group. I guess I am getting worried because they said they would be getting to the non mission group by January.yes! complete ~9/20 I'm OOS though. Stay positive and good luck!
If you look back in the thread OHSU has stated they almost never look outside the mission based groups for interviews.I'm in state so I should qualify for the Mission-Based group. I guess I am getting worried cause they would be getting to the non mission group by January.
WOW! So basically, I should just expect an interview between my 12-16 week from complete application window? If you look back in the thread OHSU has stated they almost never look outside the mission based groups for interviews.
Interviewed 11/19 nothin.Six week mark for those that interviewed mid November. Any news/projections at all?

I was complete August 5th and I haven't heard a thing (21 weeks ago). I'm OOS but I fit into a mission-group because my mom lives in Oregon. I have a 32MCAT, 3.55 cumulative, 3.75 science, non-traditional, etc. I suppose I should call...
Committee meets Thursday afternoons, which is unfortunate considering the Holiday schedule this year. On my Nov. 21st interview, they said 6-8 weeks for a decision.
