Just curious if anyone has came off Post-Interview hold? I know it's rare each year but just curious to see as it seems like there have not been that many acceptances posted

I am under the impression that the majority of people get post-interview hold and don't get re-looked at until April, which then they get accepted, rejected, or waitlisted.

I know of one person who was placed on hold post interview and has since received an acceptance this cycle.

I was unaware everyone signs a contract not to disclose information about the MMI interview. I'm sorry for having asked.

This is standard that all schools, not just OHSU, who undergo the MMI process have their applicants sign a non-disclosure agreement at the time of the interview.

I didn't sign one at another school where i underwent MMI...

Rejected via portal update today, complete in late August, OOS (although family has paid oregon income tax for 15+ years... haha)

Don't you hate how there are innumerable technicalities in place to disqualify you from in state residence but none to do the opposite? Sorry to hear that, did you interview?

Yeah it's a bummer that I grew up in the school's backyard yet I'm treated no differently than if I lived my entire life in Maine. I even visited OHSU on a high school field trip once.

I didn't receive an interview, this was pre-II

I'm sorry to hear that Temerit. I've been following your posts in this thread and was rooting for you.

Did you get any love from UW?

Thanks, I appreciate it!

No love from UW either, I was rejected post-interview in October. No interviews in California either so I've kind of accepted that I'll be traveling 2,000+ miles for a medical education.

Rejected today, was on pre-interview hold for quite some time. Hope everyone else has more luck! Wish you all the best.

My application was finished in January and interviewed 2/20. In the past, how soon after the interview has the applicant been accepted?

If you read through the thread a little bit most people are at at least 6-8 weeks post interview for decisions.

During the orientation and presentation, Dr. Morris said it'll be 6-8 weeks.

Anyone have any advice on second look attire?

May be they just got too many gunners and they are conflicted! I am joe six pack version of a premed so not sure but ready to just hear what they have decided. Good luck though!

I was lucky and heard back in 8 weeks. Hoping everyone hears the good news soon!

Seriously! Wear sweat pants or anything you damn well please. You've been accepted, you aren't going to be working to impress anyone the school is going to be trying to impress you.
Heck yeah I will even go with what ever costume makes them uncomfortable because that way at least one can feel in charge of their fate!
