Is it true that there has not been much waitlist movement in the past? If so, I hope it isn't the same this cycle!

What they said on my interview day was once people decide on that specific day in April they will take people off the waitlist in batches of twenty and then after that later into the summer they will take people on a one for one basis.
 
Merit scholarships exist, up to at least $20K/year. How many they give out I don't honestly know.

Congratulations to the new acceptances! The year I applied they seemed to always send out decisions on Friday, except for right before holidays. I got my acceptance on the day before Thanksgiving, which was a fun reveal at the table the next day when we went around to say what we're thankful for. 🙂
 
Just received an II this morning! OOS, 34 MCAT, 3.45-3.65 sGPA and cGPA. Submitted secondary 9/22.

One date left in December, many more throughout January.

How much of a difference do you think it will make to interview in mid Dec versus January regarding admissions? I kind of have finals in two weeks but I could theoretically cram it in haha, just trying to see if I'd be setting myself back since this is a top choice!

When were you complete? July, right?

Up to 9, but I wouldn't be surprised if I get into the double digits. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

I was complete the first week of August. Hang in there - they're interviewing through late January and those dates are all up for grabs. I got lucky and will be there on 12/17.

I distinctly remember this one being available on August 15?

EDIT: not sure why I was thinking of that date, maybe that's when they told us it would be available... reviewing the thread (page 3) shows secondaries started going out at the very end of July

Btw..does Temple like update letters? or Letters of interest reaffirming your continued interest? I'd like to write an interest letter but don't really know what else to say besides that I love the school? Thoughts friends?

I wrote one last month, so I sure hope they like them!
 
Waitlisted yesterday. Interviewed 10/23. OOS LizzyM 72.

The waitlist letter came via snail mail. Seems like Temple's acceptances come via email and all waitlists have been snail mailed. I was so excited when I initially got the letter.... so deceiving, haha.
 
is there a FB group for the class of 2019? I can't find one, don't know if its closed or something

Hi guys, has anyone that interviewed 10/9 heard back?

The eight week mark just ended so I'm not sure what to think.
 
Interviewed here at the St. Luke's campus this week. Ironically, I was the only interviewer which was a first for them too lol.
 
II ~ so thankful for the love, but too cash-strapped to make another cross-country flight. *sigh*
(complete mid august)
 
Any preinterview rejections here? Anxious to know if im still in the running...

I interviewed right around that time as well, so I'm looking forward to getting lucky and finding out soon!
 
I've applied here too. Holding my breath for an II. Hoping I get one soon! The campus is close to my fav cheese steak place in Philly.
 
I will! It's amazing! You have to get there when they first open cause the line goes around the corner and the best part is there's a bar connected to the restaurant with cheap drinks!
 
So anyone know of people who waited more than eight weeks and still got waitlisted or rejected? It seems like most of the people who waited past the 6-8 week mark were accepted so is it just kind of a silent hold?
 
For all you dog lovers out there, Temple had a dog therapy day in the library yesterday for the students to come relax with some pups. Love this school!
