Would anyone check to see if receipt of update letters are displayed on the portal?

yeah I find it annoying that I can find no record of what I have sent them. like, I have it recorded separately but some proof would be nice!

I have conflicting evidence on whether I sent them my first update lol. Would be nice if they weren't so hard to get a hold of

Should we just use the "Send Us Stuff" link for waitlist updates?

Have any admitted students heard anything about dates for second look day?

I haven't heard anything. I don't think any of the emails from them said anything about it and I just logged into my portal account and didn't see anything there either.

Congrats! Could you share some stats, when yo were complete, if you submitted updates etc?

3.69 GPA, 31 MCAT, complete at the end of August, no updates (thinking of sending one next week)

This came totally out of left field, but I've scheduled the interview for late January. Fingers crossed!

Hi all! Just got an interview invite today and just wanted to know if people could give some feedback about the interviews here and the interview day in general? Im sure this has all already been said somewhere in this thread, so sorry for the repeat! Thank you all =)

My interview was great- very laid back. They try to keep it very conversational.

There are several electives during MS 1 and 2, including medical Spanish. I forget if most of them are Friday or Wednesday.

Medical Spanish meets at lunch on Wednesdays. Most electives meet Friday afternoons but there are a few exceptions.

Could any current students post a weekly schedule for M1/M2? Interested to see what times classes run, how frequent exams & quizzes are etc.

I haven't heard after my interview about two months ago. Is this expected?

Not sure how common it is, but I'm going on 3.5 months post interview with no word of any kind. I know there was someone else here that interviewed on the same day as me who still hasn't heard back yet, either.

This was the case for us in MS1 and MS2. I don't think anything's changed but I might be wrong...

The blocks are generally 8-12 Monday to Friday. Sometimes you'll get out earlier and occasionally you'll stay later. Doctoring lecture is either 1-2 or 1-3 on Monday afternoon. Doctoring college meetings are 3-5 on Monday and 1-3 or 3-5 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday depending on which college you're in.

Quizzes will vary heavily by rotation and there are usually 2-3 tests per block.

I interviewed first week of october and still haven't heard back. Not sure if this is common either, but I'm in there with you!

Rejected pre-interview. Sent two updates via portal too!

anyone else interviewing here this coming week? Not sure what's going to happen, flying into philly is going to be tough given the blizzard... I hope this doesn't cost me a plane ticket.

Some airlines have already cancelled all flights into Philly for the next 24 hours, so definitely check with your airline!

Got a letter in the mail today. Put on the continued candidates list. Interviewed 12/3.

Interview coming up in about a week!! Freaking out! Any advice regarding the day, interview itself (aca heavy, ethics, AMCAS based questions, random, etc), anything else?? Any help would be very helpful! Thank you all! =)

The day itself is a little on the long side, started around 9AM and ended at around 3:30. Mine was open file, so my faculty interviewer was pretty interested in some of my activities, that actually made up the bulk of our conversation! Not heavy on aca or ethics--just kinda chatted for a while actually. Student interviewer was similarly convivial. I haven't really been to a stressful interview (do any schools actually do that?), and I would say that your interview day at Temple should not be something to stress about. Have fun and good luck!

Yes, I had an hour and a half long interview at one school where my interviewer asked me a series of hard questions (such as what is the best way to fix the US healthcare system) cut me off before I could finish an answer, and routinely tried to make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about.

Thank you sooo much for your help!! =)

For those who have interviewed: I just received an email from Temple regarding the lunch. Do we need to respond back to the e-mail even if we do not have a dietary restriction, or do we still need to respond indicating which food option we want?

CCL. Interviewed 12/7

Is there movement from the CCL?
