Does anyone happen to have the contact information for the Navy recruiter that gave a short presentation? Or who I might contact to get that information.

Who did you send your letter of interest to at a&m? Should I call admissions before sending? I really want an interview here and haven't heard anything...
 
I have a question: I've received one Texas interview (in Sept), and it's the only Texas int. I've had before Nov. 15. Since it's the only school on my prematch list at the moment, should I check it now or wait? It's possible I may get other Texas interviews by January (super hopeful!) so what is the best option?

In terms of ranking the schools,it'd be "1" since I haven't interviewed anywhere else. I'm just trying to understand the purpose of it b/c I don't fully understand how it works...

Oh! It doesn't matter how you rank because it won't be finalized until it's due which is in like three months.

That's for match day on Feb 2nd. You can get pre-match offers starting this Saturday that are separate from the ranking on that page.

Okay, see I don't understand what "pre match offers" mean and how it differs from the rankings on the website...

OHHH....so essentially, starting Saturday they begin to send out offers, but I can just put down "1" for the school I interviewed at before and change it later if get any other interviews?

We're in the same boat my friend. I have another one out of state next month, but I've only had one in TX so far...
 
Does anyone know if Nov. 15th will be the first day of the prematch period for this cycle? Because the 15th will be a Saturday. Thanks!

34 MCAT 3.97 GPA
In State, but without ties to TX (did not graduate HS here)
Non-Traditional (graduated '12)
Probably below average on healthcare related activities but above average on non-healthcare service and extracurriculars

Secondary Submitted on 8/18

Where are you interviewing? College Station was a long but very informative day, they are super well organized and friendly!

Does anybody know if A&M is still sending out interview invites? I recently received interviews from a couple of the UT system schools, but I haven't heard anything from here. I submitted my secondary on the last day, so I was thinking they might not have even got to application yet. Do yall think A&M is out of the question at this point?
 
I interviewed at 6 schools, all but one of my interviews was before 9/15, with a 3.3 cGPA 3.8 sGPA and 37 MCAT, and I didn't get a single pre match invitation. I knew this was a possibility, but I'm pretty devastated, and scared. This whole process is so confusing and opaque. I really wanted to get a prematch from A&M, I thought my interview went great.
 
I got accepted! What does 'accepting the offer' mean for Texas schools?

Just keep your head up. It's only be 9 hours and 35 minutes since they started sending invites out. I think you should be confident in yourself. I'm rooting for you.

I got an invite just yesterday for an interview this upcoming Thursday (11/20). It seems like it must have been to fill in for someone that cancelled but it does mean that there is still hope.
 
Would you guys that prematched today share your stats as well as when you were completed?
