Any updates on calls?
I think I'm a little late to the game, but for the sf86 form where do I get extra pages for the employment part?
I'm curious too, I wonder if people have been receiving calls but just not posting about it on this thread. I'm playing the waiting game from the Sept 25th interview and still haven't received anything via snail mail regarding wait list vs. alternate.Any updates on calls?

Also, be prepared to answer questions about leadership experiences you've had. Some form of a leadership type question came up on both my interviews.
If you don't know already, check out the SDN Interview Feedback results for USUHS found here:

You can find questions that were asked in previous interviews. It'll give you an idea of questions that tend to be repeatedly asked throughout the years.
Sean, my man....I'm a fellow 9/25 interviewee and have not gotten that call either. They said we will hear back in 4-6 weeks. It's been 4 weeks, 4 days. Let's funnel that nervous energy into optimism. Keep your head up and good news will come soon.My phone is disappointingly silent...

Got an ii today for 12/4. re-applicant. Waitlisted last year. Ultra excited because USUHS is my top choice.
This cycle I've been off and on the forums, sorry. I just skimmed through 10 pages right now. 🙂
Reapplicants- if you were cleared by Dodmerb last year, do you have to redo any of the stuff? I recall receiving a letter stating I did not have to, but there was no information on this on the pre-interview documents.
Also, I wouldn't worry too much if you interviewed in September. You'll get in. I interviewed 10/24 last year, and that seemed to be the transition from acceptances to waitlist because some in my interview group got in and others waitlisted.
[/QUOTE]Are you absolutely sure? To my knowledge, last cycle, the class wasn't full until the end of November. Waitlists are only given when the class is full, so unless the schools accepts EVERYONE who interviews in September and October, there's no way the class would be full by the end of October.

Haha I'm entertained by the titanic analogies Sean, is your preference for service branch Navy by chance?I am drowning in the frigid waters of the North Atlantic. It has been weeks since the Titanic sank, but I am still grasping to my last bit of strength...hoping for a lifeboat.

Everything he said coincides with what you know, you're just looking at it differently. If the class is full at the end of November and it takes 4-6 weeks to review applications and make a decision after interviews, that would be mid/end October interviews taking the last spots, which is the same thing he said.
Also keep in mind that's the initial fill, then you have people that withdraw, get accepted elsewhere etc, hence the waitlist movement. Remember that USUHS waitlist is not the same as many other schools, so a spot waitlist is still a very high chance of getting in.
And I don't mean this disrespectfully, but I'm going to have to take off my alerts for this thread because your stress is stressing me out lol.
Interviewed today. Dean Saguil confirmed that navy was full but still doing wait list spots while the other services still had open positions. Awesome day, BTW. Was apprehensive that military would not be a good fit for me but I think the interview really showed me that I would be very happy as a military physician. Put air force as first choice but noted that I would be equally happy in anything but the public health service
They said it was full but they usually take a ton of people off the wait listAre you kidding?!?!?! Navy is ALREADY FULL????
I don't know about frequent but I know at least in the past it has been checkedDo you guys think Dean Saguil (or other members of the school admissions) frequents this thread?

USUHS specifically but regardless it's always better to assume everyone is watching you when you're on an open forum 😉Are you talking about admissions committees in general, or USUHS specifically?
Yup. Today they said the last committees were wrapping up the end of September/moving on to beginning of OctoberI am assuming that there will be some phone calls tomorrow that wraps up the final September interviewees. Crossing my fingers!

Congratulations!I got the call from LTC Saguil this morning for an Army acceptance! I interviewed in September!
I have no prior military service history, but I want to make military medicine my career. USUHS is my first choice, and I am so proud and honored to have been accepted!
And I want to share something with those who are still waiting/those who will interview soon. While my application did have a lot going for it, it also has some rather significant flaws. My numbers are mostly competitive for USUHS, but not every component is above (or at) the school average. But despite these deficiencies, USUHS still gave me the opportunity to join its class, and I am beyond grateful for their decision. So if there are certain aspects on your applications that you feel are less than optimal, do NOT worry! USUHS does look at the entire picture (not just stats and the typical EC checklist)!
Best of luck to everyone out there!
you should only be sorry for using the word egregious before my 3rd cup of coffee 😉Sitting in an airport waiting for a plane that seems like it will never come so I thought I do a more comprehensive post reflecting on my visit.
1) The people here are absolutely amazing. I didn't think it was possible to have such a warm welcome at an interview day. I was so impressed that Dean Saguil took the time to chat with the interviewees. My interviewers were also incredibly friendly
2) I think the most impressive part of the facilities was the simulation center. It seems like usuhs prepares students really really well for their jobs as physicians and leaders
3) the most striking aspect of the whole day was when I realized after the interview that all of the people (either alums/faculty or students) had the demeanor that they would be very calm and level headed in a crises situation. I don't know if that is something that usuhs selects for in its class or trains in its students, but it was noticeable and different from any other school I've interviewed at so far. Usuhs had moved very, very, very far up my list because this is the type of physician I want to be and I think usuhs can help me get there.
Tldr: awesome place! Hope I get in and see all of you guys next year! Also, sorry for any egregious spelling/grammar mistakes. Working on my phone
